What Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross do most buyers choose?

The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

Higher-volume years usually give you more shopping choice, more comparable listings, and a better chance of finding the right trim and price combination. They also tend to be the easiest years to cross-shop because there are simply more examples on the market.

What is the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which can work in your favor if you want a used Eclipse Cross at a lower entry price. The largest drops are in the double digits, while the smaller declines suggest some years are softening more gradually than others. Should I buy a used Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −14.17% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −8.87%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 39.1% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 38.3%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2024 model has the most listings at a current average price of $19,533. The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross offers bold styling and a comfortable cabin that make it easy to live with day to day.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: No matter what trim you select, the Eclipse Cross is powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, it makes 152 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque, and power is routed through a continuously variable transmission (CVT) to the front wheels or available all-wheel drive (AWD).
• Tech: Mitsubishi has done away with the frustrating, redundant, and space-occupying touchpad controller, and the new(er) screen has real buttons and dials right up on the bezel.
• Safety: The Eclipse Cross comes standard with a handful of advanced driver assistance features, including forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, and pedestrian detection.
• Starting price: Base MSRP for the 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross is $23,395 for an ES with FWD.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
