over all it is a great car, good for family. runs great fun to drive. looks great. it is a very solid car as all Mercedes are. The only Negative is the gas use which is high. I think it goes 15 mile per gallon.

This car has remained in great shape. Garaged most of it's life and still looks new. This car has been well maintained.....it has 235,000 miles on it and still runs wonderfully. I put in a new transmission at 212,000 miles....so I will probably get another 100k miles out of it...and I plan to.

So far the only car that I have owned and I love it. It is solid, safe, has a lot of power, and at the same time is an elegant luxury Sedan. I am still learning the different features on the car but I know most of them. If there is one thing that I have learned form this car is don't mess with the Germans when it comes to cars.

The 420SEL is a luxury class car built strong. The 4.2 liter V8 engine gave it a smooth start as well as a decent acceleration. This car has a long wheel base and can handle tight corners as though you are riding on a cloud.
