Should I buy a used Mazda CX-30 now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −10.4% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −4.94%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 40.9% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 41.4%.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: All CX-30 models have a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, but higher trim levels add a turbocharger; without turbocharging, the engine makes 186 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque, while the turbo makes 227 hp and 310 lb-ft on regular gas or 250 hp/320 lb-ft on premium.
• Tech: Mazda Connect comes with an 8.8-inch display, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and two USB-C ports, while higher trims add wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Alexa built-in, a 10.25-inch screen, touchscreen functionality for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless smartphone charging.
• Safety: For 2026, Mazda has enhanced the drivetrain with a brake-based limited-slip differential to improve traction in a variety of driving situations.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
