Which Lexus GX trim should I buy?

The 2026 Lexus GX offers these trims:

• Premium: This is the entry point and gives you the GX’s core twin-turbo V6, full-time 4WD, and the model’s upscale, rugged character at the lowest price.
• Premium+: This adds extra equipment over Premium and is a strong value if you want more convenience without moving all the way up the range.
• Overtrail: This is the best-value pick if you want the GX’s off-road hardware, including rock rails, all-terrain tires, a locking rear differential, crawl control, hill-descent control, and E-KDSS.
• Overtrail+: This builds on Overtrail with additional luxury and convenience equipment for buyers who want trail capability with more amenities.
• Luxury: This trim shifts the GX toward a more comfort-focused setup with a higher-end feel and more premium appointments.
• Luxury+: This is the most upscale version, adding the most equipment for buyers who want the GX at its most luxurious.

What Lexus GX do most buyers choose?

The Lexus GX years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2022.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you the broadest mix of availability, pricing, and trim choices. They also sit in the sweet spot where newer design and equipment meet a still-large used inventory.

What is the Lexus GX's resale value?

Most GX model years are down year over year, which creates better opportunities for used buyers across much of the lineup. The steepest drops are concentrated in the newest years, while older models are changing more gradually.
