Mine only had a few minor poor build quality problems Lada's are reknowned for. It was fun on the beach and quite capable off road. If it was as reliable as a jap car I probab;y would have held on to it for a few more years.

Thought that since it was cheap about $ 5k at that time that it would be a good option to have a 2nd vehicle that is brand new to trash around in the desert. I took it for a spin and realised that there was more to the bad quality and ugly looks than what people just say.

awsome off road and on road all round good cheap car and i had loads of fun with this car it went where ever through hedges there were no boundrys the kids and the wife had great fun good for taking the dog as the dog runs on the beach you drive beside it
