What Kia Carnival do most buyers choose?

The Kia Carnival years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be the most popular used picks because they give you more inventory to compare and more chances to find the right price, mileage, and equipment mix. They also tend to attract shoppers looking for a newer Carnival with broad availability.

What is the Kia Carnival's resale value?

The largest drops are in the newer years, while the older years show smaller year-over-year changes. That pattern gives you a wider spread of price points to choose from depending on how new you want your Carnival to be.

The 2024, 2023, and 2022 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Should I buy a used Kia Carnival now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −17.24% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −8.78%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 38.8% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 38%.
• Sweet-spot year: The 2025 model has the most listings at a current average price of $33,973. The Kia Carnival offers a roomy, family-friendly cabin with a distinctive SUV-like look that helps it stand out in the minivan class.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: The Carnival is only offered with a 3.5-liter V6 engine connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive (FWD), and at 290 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque, the V6 has 10 hp more than the Odyssey’s similar-sized engine.
• Tech: The base LX trim level gets an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, while other trim levels upgrade to a 12.3-inch touchscreen as well as a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster.
• Safety: Higher trim levels get more driver-assistance features, including adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, Highway Driving Assist, a surround-view camera system, and a blind-spot camera system that shows a camera view in the instrument cluster when a turn signal is activated.
• Starting price: Pricing for the 2024 Kia Carnival starts at $34,995 for the base LX grade.

If you're buying used today, the 2025 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
