Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, lane-departure warning, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, and rear parking sensors
• Infotainment: Uconnect 5 infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity
• Fuel efficiency: up to 27 mpg combined; 22 mpg combined (19 mpg city, 26 mpg highway)

Which Jeep Grand Cherokee trim should I buy?

The 2026 Jeep Grand Cherokee offers these trims:

• Laredo: the entry trim uses the Pentastar 3.6-liter V6, a 10.2-inch touchscreen, cloth upholstery, and Jeep’s Quadra-Trac I 4WD system; it suits buyers who want the most affordable way into the lineup.
• Laredo X: this version keeps the V6 and adds its own trim-level equipment while staying near the entry point.
• Laredo Altitude: this trim adds the larger 12.3-inch touchscreen, the Selec-Terrain system with multiple drive modes, black 18-inch wheels, and a standard Black Appearance Package; it is a strong value pick for shoppers who want more tech and style.
• Limited: this trim brings leatherette upholstery, the larger touchscreen, and available 20-inch wheels, making it a well-rounded choice for many buyers.
• Limited Altitude: this version adds bigger wheels and a blackout treatment for a more distinctive look.
• Limited Reserve: this trim adds genuine leather upholstery and sits near the top of the lineup with a more upscale feel.
• Summit: the top trim adds 21-inch wheels, a black roof, genuine leather upholstery, a 19-speaker McIntosh audio system, a front-passenger touchscreen, height-adjustable air suspension, and Quadra-Drive II 4WD with a two-speed transfer case.

What Jeep Grand Cherokee do most buyers choose?

The Jeep Grand Cherokee years with the most listings are 2024, 2022, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you a strong mix of availability, pricing, and deal opportunities. When more listings are on the market, you usually get more trim and condition choices, which makes it easier to find the right fit.

What is the Jeep Grand Cherokee's resale value?

Most model years in the table are down year over year, which creates better buying opportunities for used shoppers. The largest drops are concentrated in newer and mid-cycle years, while a few older years show smaller declines and therefore stronger value retention.

The 2014, 2023, and 2018 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

• Starting price: The Laredo trim starts at $40,410 with the mandatory $1,995 destination charge.
