Performance came from the 5.3 V12 and is not fast by todays standards but was one of the fastest cars on the road when it was made. It can however still be tailhappy if you're not carefull. It had power steering which helped because it was a very big car with a huge long bonnet. It was incredible to drive.

this is a magnificent car its the most beautiful ever made and its fast to be old its beautifully done its amazing to drive but is really expensive to maintein but you never mind wen you have those look of a car especially on a twisty road

I liked everything about my 62 e-type coupe...the sound of her pulling hard through 2nd and 3rd gears, the profile, the attention I got...I was 24 driving an E-Type in 1964. It was and still is a stunning motor car with all the power, style and feel one could want..I still think of her even today. My black beauty with red leather int. Registered in Virginia 62-64 I am going to see if DMV can help me find her Vin # and see if I can't track her down. I've always hoped she is still alive in someones garage somewhere.
