Is the INFINITI Q50 a good car?
Yes — the INFINITI Q50 earns strong marks from owners across its full run, and its appeal centers on style, performance, and a well-equipped feel. The all-generations owner rating is 4.7/5 across every model year in the data.

Expert reviews rate the 2014 and 2015 models among the highest across all years.
The trade-offs show up most clearly in newer expert-reviewed years, where poor fuel economy, outdated technology, and value concerns come up again and again.
27.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
Are INFINITI Q50 models reliable?
Owners consistently describe the Q50 as a car that delivers strong performance, comfort, and a premium feel, and expert commentary reinforces that it can be a compelling luxury sedan when you want power and style together. The model’s long-running formula also gives it a familiar, proven character that many used buyers appreciate.

Same class as the bmw 5 series, while might not hug the road as well, it does everything else better, plus way more reliable, at a price far below the BMW.

Why it stands out
The 2023 INFINITI Q50 stands out as a sedan that still leans into style and performance at a time when many shoppers are choosing crossovers and SUVs. It is described as offering power and style, and its design is one of its clear strengths. The car also benefits from easy-to-use technology, which helps it feel approachable even if its overall tech presentation is not especially modern.
That said, the Q50’s appeal comes with some tradeoffs. Its fuel economy is poor, its technology is considered outdated, and it is viewed as poor value for money. It also lacks some of the attractive upgrades found in Audi and BMW models, so buyers drawn to the 2023 INFINITI Q50 are likely prioritizing its looks and performance over the latest features or the strongest efficiency.
