The SR20DE engine is a bit underpowered compared to most newer cars, although it's easy to fix that with an engine swap. But the car just wants to have fun. The engine revs high, the clutch is light and the gearshift smooth and precise, and the handling is superb, especially for a FWD car. When you're not using the go pedal as much, it can get up to 32 mpg, and it's a great car for all-day interstate cruising. Being that it's 16 years old, it doesn't look sexy and is a little more high-maintenance than a new car, but for its age, it is quite reliable. If I were to total this car, I would replace it with another G20. The only other cars I would want are all at least $10,000, and frankly, they're not quite as good. Older G20s routinely go for $1500-2000, so they're a great bargain when you consider what you get.

Overall, it can be a car for everyone to drive. It's luxury was top notch for it's time with a tight yet sporty feel in handling. It's very slow when it starts from a stop, but other than that, a great choice for a car in the year 2000

The best part of this car is the suspension. The steering is responsive, and the car changes directions instantly. A limited-slip differential on the front keeps the wheels in contact with the pavement in any weather condition. You can go to any back road and throw this car around and it begs for more. The engine revs quickly all the way to its 7600 rpm redline, but it feels a bit ordinary when its not revved. The interior is done in black in keeping with many other japanese cars of this time; the Recaro bucket seats in the front hold you in on high speed cornering but are also extremely comfortable for long road trips. It has a surprising amount of people and luggage room for a car this size.
