What should I look for when buying a used Hyundai Elantra N?
Across all model years, accident-free inventory is solid at 82% — always verify the vehicle history report.
| Model Year | Accident-Free % |

| 2024 | 80.7% |
| 2023 | 78.3% |

It also includes the dual 10.25-inch displays, an eight-speaker Bose stereo, Wi-Fi, and a digital phone key, making it the clear best-value choice because it is the only trim and already includes the core performance and tech hardware.
What Hyundai Elantra N do most buyers choose?

This is by far the best value sports sedan available today. I saved close to 20K over a CTR, GRC, or Golf R.

If the Type-R is the king of FWD compact sport vehicles then the Elantra N is the charismatic opposition looking to step up to be a new contender. I owned an FK8. I believe the FL5 is a refined version of the FK8. Modern and has a QoL improvement. With that being said the EN is just better priced it reaches into the market of customers who want a Type R but don't want a Manual. While the EN does have a 6MT option, it's not as good as Honda's clutch feel and gearbox. With that being said you can make it come close - lots of people have done it online. Final thoughts: You can't go wrong with any in terms of driving experience. I do believe that the Elantra N has a bit more character the way it cuts corners compared to the Type R, but the Type R is overall more planted and has that wider chasis.

Summary
With 137 currently listed for sale and an average price of $26,674, 27.7% of 2022 Hyundai Elantra N listings on CarGurus are rated as good or great deals.
Favorably reviewed: Owners rated the 2022 Hyundai Elantra N 5 / 5 stars and CarGurus experts gave it an 8.7 / 10.
81.0% of 2022 Hyundai Elantra N listings on CarGurus are accident free.
Why it stands out
The 2022 Hyundai Elantra N stands out as a performance sedan that blends everyday comfort with serious track-ready intent. It is described as a comfortable daily driver that also has the capability to be a race track-capable hooligan, and it may not look like a race track rascal at first glance even though it has the bones to be a corner-carving champion. That mix of daily-driver appeal, comfort, and motorsports-tuned character is what makes it distinctive.
Its strengths are straightforward: a powerful engine, great handling, and excellent value for money. Those traits make it appealing to buyers who want a sporty compact car that feels engaging without giving up too much practicality. The car’s limitations are worth noting, though. All-wheel drive is not available, the clutch setup is described as weird, and the rear strut brace affects cargo usability and space. Even with those compromises, the 2022 Hyundai Elantra N comes across as a compelling choice for shoppers who prioritize performance and value in a sedan.
