Used Honda Pilot for Sale nearLewiston, CA

How much does the Honda Pilot cost in today's market?

Used Honda Pilot prices span a wide range depending on model year. Here's what the market looks like right now:

The Honda Pilot's current nationwide average price is $27,356, and its nationwide average price reached a low of $24,395 over the past year.

Recently, prices have come down for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the Honda Pilot a good car?

Yes — the Honda Pilot is a strong choice if you want a roomy, family-friendly SUV with broad appeal and a consistently high owner score. The all-generations owner rating is 4.68/5 across every model year in the data.

Owners repeatedly praise the Pilot for its spacious cabin, comfortable ride, and practical family-focused layout. Across the model years, you also see recurring appreciation for its cargo space, passenger room, and everyday usability.

Expert reviews rate the 2020 and 2023 models among the highest across all years.

The main tradeoffs center on fuel economy, engine performance, and infotainment polish in some years, especially when you compare recent models with the strongest family-hauler strengths. Still, the Pilot’s mix of space, comfort, and utility makes it an easy SUV to recommend for many used buyers.

36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Are Honda Pilot models reliable?

Owners consistently describe the Honda Pilot as spacious, comfortable, and easy to live with, and the strongest years also earn praise for reliability and family-friendly usefulness. Expert commentary across the model years reinforces that practical, well-rounded character.

• Owners rate the Honda Pilot between 4.4 and 4.91 out of 5 stars across all model years in the data.

For used buyers, that combination points to a model that can be a sensible long-term ownership choice, especially when you choose carefully and verify maintenance history.

What should I look for when buying a used Honda Pilot?

Across all model years, at 74.4% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Older model years carry meaningfully higher accident rates, so always verify the vehicle history report on pre-2022 models.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Honda Sensing suite
• Infotainment: larger standard 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 10.2-inch digital instrument panel for all trim levels
• Fuel efficiency: The 2026 Pilot is estimated to return up to 22 mpg combined (19/27 mpg city/highway) with the FWD layout. With AWD, the EPA estimates a slight drop to 21 mpg combined (19/25 mpg city/highway), while the off-road-capable TrailSport drops by about another 1 mpg across the board.

Which Honda Pilot trim should I buy?

The 2026 Honda Pilot offers these trims:

• Sport: The entry trim starts the lineup with front-wheel drive, while all-wheel drive is available; it suits you if you want the most affordable way into the Pilot.
• EX-L: This trim adds leather seats and a removable second-row seat, making it the best-value choice for many shoppers who want comfort and flexibility.
• TrailSport: This version adds the off-road-oriented hardware and is the one to choose if you want the Pilot’s more rugged capability.
• Touring: This trim adds a panoramic sunroof, premium audio, and a hands-free power liftgate for a more upscale family setup.
• Black Edition: The top trim brings the most premium presentation in the lineup.

What Honda Pilot do most buyers choose?

The Honda Pilot years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you a strong mix of availability, newer features, and competitive pricing. When more listings are on the market, you also have more room to compare trims, colors, and deal quality.

What is the Honda Pilot's resale value?

Most Honda Pilot model years are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used and want to avoid paying peak prices. The largest drops are concentrated in the newer and mid-cycle years, while the older models show smaller declines. That pattern suggests there are still solid opportunities across the lineup, especially if you’re flexible on model year.

The 2014, 2015, and 2024 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
