Used Honda Pilot for Sale nearHomestead, FL

How much does the Honda Pilot cost in today's market?

Used Honda Pilot prices span a wide range depending on model year. Here's what the market looks like right now:

The Honda Pilot's current nationwide average price is $27,188, and its lowest point over the past year was $24,397. Recently, prices have come down for the 2023, 2024, and 2025 models, making now a good time to shop recent model years.

Is the Honda Pilot a good car?

Yes — the Honda Pilot is a strong choice if you want a roomy, family-focused SUV with broad everyday appeal. The all-generations owner rating is 4.7/5 across every model year in the data.

Owners consistently praise the Pilot for its spacious cabin, comfortable ride, and family-friendly practicality. Across the model years, the most common themes are generous passenger and cargo space, easy daily usability, and solid value for the money.

Expert reviews rate the 2020 and 2023 models among the highest across all years.

The main trade-offs center on fuel economy, interior materials, and, in some years, engine performance or infotainment polish. For used shoppers, that means the Pilot makes the most sense if you value space, comfort, and utility more than a luxury feel or standout efficiency.

36.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

Are Honda Pilot models reliable?

Owners consistently describe the Honda Pilot as spacious, comfortable, and easy to live with, and the expert reviews reinforce its family-friendly character and practical design. Across the model years, that combination of comfort, usability, and everyday value comes through again and again.

• Owners rate the Honda Pilot between 4.4 and 4.9 out of 5 stars across all model years in the data.

For used buyers, long-term ownership risk is best managed by choosing a well-kept example with a clean history and a strong maintenance record.

What should I look for when buying a used Honda Pilot?

Across all model years, at 74% accident-free, a meaningful share of listings has prior incidents — history verification is especially important.

Older model years carry meaningfully higher accident rates, so always verify the vehicle history report on pre-2022 models.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Honda Sensing suite
• Infotainment: larger standard 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 10.2-inch digital instrument panel for all trim levels, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto

Which Honda Pilot trim should I buy?

The 2026 Honda Pilot offers these trims:

• Sport: The entry-level trim starts the lineup with front-wheel drive and the standard Honda Sensing safety suite, making it the value-focused starting point.
• EX-L: This trim adds all-wheel drive, a removable second-row seat, and leather seats, making it the best-value choice for many shoppers.
• TrailSport: This version adds decent off-road abilities and stands out for buyers who want the Pilot’s more rugged side.
• Touring: This trim adds a panoramic sunroof, premium audio, and a hands-free power liftgate.
• Black Edition: This top trim brings the most upscale presentation in the lineup.

What Honda Pilot do most buyers choose?

The Honda Pilot years with the most listings are 2024, 2025, and 2023.

These higher-volume model years tend to draw the most attention because they offer a strong mix of availability, pricing, and newer features. More listings also give you more room to compare condition, mileage, and equipment before you buy.

What is the Honda Pilot's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which is good news if you are shopping used and want to benefit from softer pricing. The largest drops are concentrated in the newer and mid-cycle years, while the oldest examples show smaller changes. That pattern suggests you can find meaningful value across much of the lineup, especially if you are flexible on model year.

The 2014, 2015, and 2016 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.
