The Honda Odyssey is the sports car of minivans. The acceleration is brisk (not terribly fast but well above average), handling is reasonable (esp. with upgraded performance tires), and the brakes do a great job even in panic stops. Honda is renown for their build quality and reliability. This vehicle is very utilitarian as I use it to haul my family as well as much cargo for work. Although my Odyssey is older when compared to the newer model, I think it still looks very nice as the design is still modern. I average 15L/100km around the city and 10L/100km on highway loops. My recent jaunts on the Sea-to-Sky Highway (twisty mountainous road) has proven to me that this minivan has legs (and muscles). I think the Odyssey is about as fun as one can get in a minivan. Highly recommended for families!

There is nothing that I can complain about with the Odyssey. It has everything for the entire family. It's reliable, provides great versatility, the only concern I have is with the front end suspension, (sometimes I forger it is a VAN). I drive it everyday and it is great for shuttling the kids around while the dvd player helps keep the peace during long trips.

No other car can you get as much stuff and people into. Very versatile with the fold down and removable seats. We have put over 200,000 miles with low maintenance cost. Easy access and comfort for all in the van.

Great travel vehicle, spacious, good on gas. Maintenance cost is reasonable. This is a great family vehicle that if taken care of will run for thousand more miles. One downfall of this vehicle is the transmission. My husband spent the money 3 months ago and the transmission rebuilt to meet the specs that honda failed to do initially back in 2003. The vehicle now is good for another 100k miles.

We bought it new at Koons Honda of Manassas in Manassas, VA when i was in ninth grade, and I describe it as the best damn car ever. It has every available option except the leather seats and navigation system. It is also a rare vehicle. Normally u had to get leather to get the DVD system, but in 2004, the last year for this body style, Honda made some with cloth seats, and we got one, silver with gray cloth. The DVD player no longer works, and is way too expensive to replace, so I just use my laptop. Since it is based on a car chassis and is lower to the ground than similar vehicles in its class, it handles like a dream and is incredibly agile. It has a powerful V6 under the hood that is fast while still managing to stay fuel efficient, all while taking regular fuel. The sliding doors can be annoying sometimes, but we love them most of the time. Everything with the exception of the DVD player is in perfect working order, and despite having high miles for a 2004 vehicle, it still runs and drives like new and requires absolutely no maintenance. If you are looking for a minivan, new or used, put the 1999-newer Honda Odyssey at the top of your list!
