The Geo Tracker is often praised by owners for its fun and agile driving experience, especially off-road and in snowy conditions. Many drivers love its compact size, convertible feature, and impressive gas mileage, which can reach around 25-30 mpg. However, there's some disappointment regarding its lack of power, particularly for highway driving, and a bumpy ride that can make it less comfortable on longer trips. Overall, the Tracker is viewed as an affordable and reliable option for those seeking a small, versatile SUV.

This was my first vehicle, and I can't begin to describe how much fun I had in it. It's a bit like an oversized 4-wheel drive go-kart. The agility off-road will surprise you, as will the gas mileage on-road. (I used to be able to fill up and drive around all week on $10, but gas prices were different then.)

Since the day I got it, I absolutely fell in love with my Geo Tracker. Sound like a typo? Its not. 25 mpg, can hold 4 people, four wheel drive, and RELIABLE! It had a nice inline 4 engine that was basically bulletproof - when it died on me, it had lived through the beatings of 5 teenagers, more then 10 accidents, one complete remodel, and lived to be 317.000 miles old. Tell me that is not an amazing piece of work.

This thing went anywhere you wanted to take it. I had only 2500 bucks in it but it would keep up with all those expensive jeeps to. And the gas mileage was even better. Put 10 bucks in it and you have a weeks worth of gas

Couldn't kill the thing. It used oil so badly to the point I was adding 4 liters at a time but the damn engine never made so much as a tick! It did handle very well in 4X4 as long as you got used to the very short wheel base. We used to have to put a piece of cardboard in front of the radiator in the winter because it would never heat up, plus the rag top would let what little heat we got right back out again.
