Across all model years, accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Genesis’ Highway Drive Assist, lane keeping assist, forward collision avoidance, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, blind view monitor, remote smart parking, and a 360-degree camera system.
• Infotainment: a clear, crisp 27-inch OLED screen housing both a digital gauge cluster and infotainment system, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: The EPA gives the 2025 Genesis GV80 with the four-cylinder engine a rating of 19 miles per gallon city, 24 mpg highway and 21 mpg combined. The six-cylinder engine only nets 16/22/19.

Which Genesis GV80 trim should I buy?

The 2025 Genesis GV80 offers these trims:

• Standard: This is the entry point for the 2.5-liter engine and gives you the GV80’s core luxury feel with all-wheel drive and the model’s upscale design.
• AWD: This trim adds the features Genesis removed from the lower setup, including a heated steering wheel, digital key, and spare tire, making it the best-value choice for many shoppers.
• Select: This trim builds on the 2.5-liter lineup and keeps the GV80’s premium presentation while moving you closer to the richer equipment mix.
• Advance: This is where the larger twin-turbo 3.5-liter engine becomes available, along with a stronger blend of performance and luxury features.
• Prestige: This top trim adds the most upscale equipment and is the right pick if you want the GV80 at its most lavish.

What Genesis GV80 do most buyers choose?

The Genesis GV80 years with the most listings are 2025, 2024, and 2023.

Those higher-volume years tend to be the easiest to shop because you get more inventory to compare and more chances to find the right color, mileage, and equipment mix. They also tend to be the years buyers cross-shop most often when looking for a newer GV80 with broad availability.

What is the Genesis GV80's resale value?

Prices are down across every model year shown, which is good news if you’re shopping used. The largest drops are in the double digits, so recent GV80s have become meaningfully more affordable. Even the smaller declines still point to a market that has softened enough to create opportunities for buyers.

The 2024, 2021, and 2023 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Is the Genesis GV80 safe?

Should I buy a used Genesis GV80 now or wait for the next model?

Buy now if:

• Price trend: The 2025 model is at −16.02% versus a year ago, and the 2024 model is at −8.7%.
• Deal availability: The 2025 model has 35% good and great deals, and the 2024 model has 34.5%.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Genesis kept the powertrain options the same for 2025. A 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine is standard fare on the GV80. This power plant puts out 300 horsepower and 311 pound-feet of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
• Tech: All trims of the GV80 get a clear, crisp 27-inch OLED screen housing both a digital gauge cluster and infotainment system, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are both here.
• Safety: Every GV80 gets a whole slew of updated advanced driver’s aids like lane keeping assist, forward collision avoidance, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
• Starting price: Pricing starts at just over $59,000 including $1,350 for destination.

If you're buying used today, the 2025 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
