I got this van new in the 2000, no problems at all until 2009 and 90,000 miles, had a no start problem, no big deal replacing the distributor cap fixed problem. it always happen when raining and cool weather, found lots of moisture inside dist cap.

It is a tank. Not much more can be said about a van that is 12 years old and is still able to take as much abuse as you can throw at it. So yeah, just a really nice tank.

For the most part, this large 12 passenger van has been very good to us. I purchased an extra set of rims for the snow tires. If you ever intend to drive in the snow, you really need snow tires or you'll likely have a very hard time moving at all. But with the snow tires all around, it's a joy to drive in the snow. The driver's seat has become quite uncomfortable after 127K miles. One of the seat belt fasteners broke in the front rear seat. It's a bit loud in the cabin going at highway speeds making it difficult to hear the radio. But I'd buy this van again since it has been very dependable and reliable and the engine, transmission, and brakes have been excellent.

GMC is a beautiful and powerful van, but it has a lack of being a pioneer and a competitor to Ford Transit. It has a sliding door on one side..not four wheel drive from the company ... Inside it lacks aesthetics and luxury
