What should I look for when buying a used Ford Bronco?

Across all model years, accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: automatic emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, high-beam assist, hill-start assist, post-collision braking, and a rearview camera with backup assist grid lines
• Infotainment: a 12-inch infotainment screen with Sync 4, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto

Which Ford Bronco trim should I buy?

The 2026 Ford Bronco offers these trims:

• Base: standard 4WD, a 300-hp turbocharged 2.3-liter engine, a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, a 12-inch infotainment screen, Sync 4, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and standard driver-assistance basics; a strong starting point if you want the Bronco’s core capability.
• Big Bend: adds access to the Lux Package’s surround-view cameras and brings more tech flexibility, making it a smart value-oriented step up for shoppers who want more convenience features.
• Badlands: adds the two-door option and higher-level off-road focus, including more terrain modes and trail-ready hardware for buyers who want a more serious trail setup.
• Heritage Edition: pairs the base engine with manual transmission availability and a distinctive retro-inspired character for shoppers who want classic Bronco style.
• Outer Banks: adds heated front seats, rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitors, and dual-zone automatic climate control; this is the best-value trim for many buyers because it balances comfort, safety tech, and everyday usability.
• Stroppe Edition: a special-edition model aimed at buyers who want a more distinctive, performance-oriented Bronco with standout styling.
• Raptor: the extreme off-road choice, built for buyers who want the most aggressive trail hardware and the most serious off-road capability in the lineup.
• 60th Anniversary Package model: adds special badging, unique accents, and Wimbledon White styling for buyers who want a commemorative appearance package.

What Ford Bronco do most buyers choose?

The Ford Bronco years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2025.

These higher-volume years tend to be popular because they give you more inventory to compare, which can make it easier to find the right trim, color, and price. They also often sit in the sweet spot between newer features and broader used-market availability.

What is the Ford Bronco's resale value?

Prices are down across every year shown, which is good news if you’re shopping used. The biggest drops are in the newer model years, while the older years have also moved lower at a steadier pace. That pattern gives you more room to find value across the lineup.

The 2022, 2023, and 2021 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

Consider waiting if:

• Powertrain/efficiency: Four-wheel drive (4WD) is standard, and the lineup includes a 300-horsepower, 2.3-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine plus a 330-hp, 2.7-liter twin-turbo V6 engine.
• Tech: Sync 4, a 12-inch digital gauge cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay, and wireless Android Auto are standard, with an available seven-year connectivity plan that adds an unlimited Wi-Fi hotspot, audio and video streaming, and voice assistant features.
