Customers say

The Ford Aspire has garnered attention for its quirky charm and fun driving experience, making it a memorable choice for many owners. They especially like its low cost of ownership and how well it maneuvers in tight spaces. However, some drivers express concerns about its lack of power, noise at higher speeds, and reliability issues over time. Despite these downsides, it's viewed favorably by those who prioritize economy over performance, making it a solid option for budget-conscious shoppers looking for a compact car.

A collaboration of sorts between Ford, Mazda and Kia, the Aspire is '90's econobox at its best. Four, even five will fit comfortably in its egglike, 2100-pound unibody shell, just don't expect to get anywhere with 500+ additional pounds being tugged along by the 63-horsepower longitudinally- mounted fourbanger. Even with skinny tires, handling is, if anything, a thrill. With a 1.8T Mazda engine (an easy swap), upgraded suspension and a roll cage, you would have any rally course's sleeper of the day.

Good running used car. Its an econo-box so noises are loud at speed. Power is lacking but adequate for what it is. Will travel at interstate speeds, but it likes to take things a little slower normally. If you dont mind the noise and lack of power, its a nice car.

This is my first car. Great gas mileage, runs great, and the interior leaves ample room for modifications.

Performance - Not a lot of balls but handled well enough to stick hard corners at high speeds. Appearance - Looks like an egg. Fun Factor - Just really fun for me to drive. Small and nibble made it great on crowded highways.
