Always wanted one after seeing Edsel #1 in Henry Ford Museum during a 6th grade field trip. Didn't know that there were 18 models offered in 1958 from Edsel Motor Division. Yes they were their own division, along with Ford, Lincoln and Mercury. Designed to be the medium price cars between the higher priced Mercurys and the lower priced Fords. Mine was the lowest with the fewest options available. You couldn't even get carpet in mine, only rubber floor mat.
