Dodge Dynasty Overview
On the surface, the Dodge Dynasty is a practical family car -- square, plain, and roomy enough inside to seat four very comfortably. But this four-door mid-size sedan, a less expensive version of the New Yorker, without all the bells and whistles, had a lot of horsepower under its hood.
Like the New Yorker, it was built on the Chrysler C platform, but was only available in two trims, base and LE, it changed little over its six-year lifespan. It came standard with a four-cylinder engine, but most owners opted for one of the two V6 engines, which hit over 140-hp. Despite its large size and powerful engine, it exhibited easy handling and amazingly quick acceleration.
Though interior options were few, the legroom and cushiony seats were big hits with drivers, who could take this car out on the highway and really let it loose on long road trips, while still enjoying a smooth, quiet ride.

The Dodge Dynasty is generally appreciated for its reliability, comfort, and spacious interior. Owners often highlight its ability to perform well over many miles and its strong value for money. However, common criticisms include its outdated styling and susceptibility to rust in older models. Additionally, issues with starting in cold weather and a lack of modern features have been noted among some drivers.

I like my car, it is good, dependable and fuel efficient.
This was my first car when I turned 16! I got it in 2010 I believe and it was a great first car! Ran great and drove smoothly. The mile gauge broke when we had it, it stopped on 70K miles. It was previously owned by an older woman so it wasn't drove that much. Before I had it, it was my older sisters car and it was passed down to me. This car was nothing but reliable to me. Occasionally didn't start but that was because I would forget to turn the headlights off. I'm not much of a car person so I didn't really do the upkeep on it, my step dad did all of that. Had to change the breaks a couple of times, it started overheating and I couldn't drive it for more than 25 minutes before it started acting up. 2 months ago the rod shaft and piston stopped working so I thought I might as well buy a new car because it would cost more to fix than what the car is worth. Overall this was a great first car! I loved mine and I do miss it!
This car has been from Tennessee to Texas... from Tennessee to Gulf Shores Alabama and back 7 or 8 times... Very comfortable, and reliable... they have to have the 3.3 V-6 of they arent worth crap!
