Reviewed a 2022 Chrysler S V8 RWD on Mar 30, 2025
I’ve been really impressed with the 2022 Chrysler 300. It delivers a smooth and powerful ride, especially with the available V8 engine option. The interior is spacious and comfortable, featuring high-quality materials and a user-friendly infotainment system. It has a classic yet bold design that stands out on the road. In terms of value, I think it’s a solid choice for those looking for a mix of luxury, performance, and practicality. It may not have the latest tech features found in some competitors, but it makes up for it with a refined driving experience. I’d compare it to the Dodge Charger or even some entry-level luxury sedans. Overall, it’s a great option for anyone who appreciates a powerful and stylish full-size sedan. Highly recommend!

Why it stands out
The 2017 Chrysler 300 stands out as a full-size sedan with clear luxury appeal and a bold presence. It had already received its last major refresh in 2015, so changes for 2017 were minimal, but new interior and exterior appearance packages gave it a more aggressive look. The Uconnect infotainment system was also faster and added new features designed to keep drivers connected on the go.
Buyers could choose from four trim levels—Limited, 300S, 300C, and 300C Platinum—and select either rear-wheel or all-wheel drive across the lineup. Engine options included a 3.6-liter V6 or a 5.7-liter V8, both paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. That combination helped give the 300 the kind of power and upscale character shoppers expect from a large sedan, while owner feedback points to comfort, spaciousness, and a smooth ride as major strengths. Some owners have also noted drawbacks with the navigation system and wished for a more powerful sound system.
