my truck accelerates really well for a 4 cyl as for the braking and handlling i have had my truck for about 5 yrs and not had any trouble out of either. you will be amazed at how strong this truck is built. i love the look of it. it is by far my favorite of all generations. maintenance has not been a problem at all just the routine stuff, i am am disappointed with the gas mileage it seems to get fewer than any 4 cly. i've ever owned. other than that there is no problems with this car. its is a blast to drive you get alot of looks and there is alot you can do with them so i will give them a big thumbs up!

We bought this new in 1984 and used it for nearly 20 years. It was a 4 speed and a work-horse. I don't know how many things we hauled it in over the years.

Excellent performance and reliability. Is a lot of fun to drive and easy to fix yourself(not a lot of computer garbage). A car you'll love after one drive.

This truck will take you anywhere and even through any kind of mud or water. It's very dependable and I would drive this truck anywhere. It's roomy to be a smaller truck and is very appealing and stylish to the eye.

The S10 is a very good truck platform, especially for younger drivers. The 2.8 is a very good engine that can last for many good miles. Overall performance is good, and with a performance clutch, it can be very fun to drive. The only drawback that I have seen is the lighter load capabilities, where I am used to bigger trucks. This is the second '91 S10 that I have had. They are very easy to work on and the aftermarket products are abundant to make it "yours".
