What should I look for when buying a used Cadillac Escalade IQ?

Across all model years, accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving system, along with automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree camera system, automated parking assist, and teen-driver monitoring.
• Infotainment: a dashboard-spanning display with a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment touchscreen, and a front passenger touchscreen, plus Google-based infotainment.
• Range & charging: 460-mile range, 200 kilowatt-hours of total capacity, and 350 kW charging that gets you 100 miles of range in 10 minutes.
• Battery health: On a used EV, it makes sense to review battery state-of-health, ask how the vehicle has typically been charged at home or on DC fast chargers, and confirm what remains of the battery warranty.

Which Cadillac Escalade IQ trim should I buy?

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ offers these trims:

• Luxury 1: The entry Luxury 1 trim starts the lineup with the Escalade IQ's core luxury and EV hardware, and it is the best-value choice if you want the model's big-screen, big-battery experience without moving up the range.
• Sport 1: Sport 1 adds a different design theme while keeping similar feature content, so it suits you if you want the Escalade IQ's presence with a more expressive look.
• Luxury 2: Luxury 2 brings higher-content equipment and is the step-up choice if you want more of the Escalade IQ's premium feel.
• Sport 2: Sport 2 pairs the higher-content equipment with the Sport design theme for buyers who want the most upscale version of that styling.

What Cadillac Escalade IQ do most buyers choose?

The Cadillac Escalade IQ years with the most listings are 2026 and 2025.

When a model year has the most listings, you usually get more choice in color, trim, and equipment. That also tends to make it easier to compare prices and find a well-priced example.

What is the Cadillac Escalade IQ's resale value?

The table shows a sharp year-over-year drop, which can work in your favor if you're shopping used. A double-digit decline like this often creates stronger value opportunities for buyers who want a newer luxury EV at a lower entry price.

The 2025 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

• 2025: 7/10

Cadillac's Super Cruise hands-free driving system is standard.

Consider waiting if:

• Range & charging: The Escalade IQ’s standard dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) powertrain generates up to 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque when using the driver-selectable Velocity Max mode, and Cadillac says it can recover 100 miles of range in 10 minutes with 350 kW charging.
• Tech: The Escalade IQ features a dashboard-spanning display incorporating a digital instrument cluster for the driver, a central infotainment touchscreen, and a second touchscreen for the front passenger.
• Safety: Cadillac includes its full array of driver assist features, and GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving system is also standard.
