Is the Cadillac Escalade a good car?

Key things to evaluate:

• Safety package: Super Cruise, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors with lane-change alert, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, a 360-degree surround-view camera system, and GM's Safety Alert Seat.
• Infotainment: a 55-inch curved display with a digital instrument cluster, a 35-inch central infotainment touchscreen, a 20-inch front passenger screen, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Fuel efficiency: 16 mpg combined for the 4WD configuration, and 16.4 mpg over 320 mostly highway miles.

Which Cadillac Escalade trim should I buy?

The 2026 Cadillac Escalade offers these trims:

• 1SA: The entry trim starts the lineup at $93,995 with RWD and gives you the Escalade’s core luxury-SUV presence and standard technology suite.
• Luxury: This trim adds a chrome-heavy look and suits buyers who want a more traditional upscale appearance.
• Sport: This trim adds a blacked-out exterior treatment with dark window surrounds, black roof rails, and a mesh grille.
• Platinum Sport: This is the best-value trim if you want the richest cabin experience, with semi-aniline leather, faceted quilting, leather door trim, a microsuede headliner, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

What Cadillac Escalade do most buyers choose?

The Cadillac Escalade years with the most listings are 2024, 2023, and 2022.

These higher-volume years tend to be the most popular used picks because they give you the broadest selection of listings and a strong mix of pricing and deal availability. That usually makes it easier to compare trims, equipment, and condition before you buy.

What is the Cadillac Escalade's resale value?

Most model years are down year over year, which is good news if you’re shopping used because it creates more room to find value. The biggest drops are concentrated in several newer and mid-cycle years, while a few older examples are falling at a slower pace. Overall, the table points to a market where buyers have leverage across much of the lineup.

The 2014, 2022, and 2016 model years have held their value best, with the smallest year-over-year price changes.

If you're buying used today, the 2024 model year offers the best mix of value and availability. If you want the latest tech and features, it may be worth waiting for the next model year's inventory to build up.
