Used BMW X6 M for Sale nearBeaverton, OR

Is the BMW X6 M a good car?

Yes — the BMW X6 M stands out because it builds on the X6’s original formula of a low-slung, coupe-like SUV and turns it into an even more extreme performance machine. Across its three generations, the X6 line has always emphasized style, power, and a sportier driving character than the mechanically related X5, and the X6 M sits at the sharpest end of that approach. That means aggressive styling, wide tires, sport suspension hardware, and a cabin that leans heavily into luxury and equipment rather than practicality.

The all-generations owner rating is 4.54/5 across every model year in the data.

What makes the X6 M especially appealing is the combination of strong engines and substantial chassis technology. The X6 line has offered potent six- and eight-cylinder powertrains, and the most recent generation added adaptive dampers, rear-wheel steering, an M Sport differential, and available air suspension, all of which reinforce its performance focus. Standard and available equipment has also been generous, with features such as large displays, advanced driver-assistance tech, premium audio, and upscale interior materials. Earlier generations were notable for their mechanical sophistication as well, including torque-vectoring rear differential technology and active damping systems that helped the X6 drive with more verve than a typical SUV.
