This car is amazing. The style and the features are exactly what I wanted. It's nice to have a car that has so many standard features that you don't have to add. The safety features and the plug-in hybrid mileage exceed my expectations.

It’s a Q5, great comfortable cars, but I wasn’t able to get used to the hybrid system after 2 test drives so I passed. Didn’t feel much (if at all) of the extra power aside from a standstill. The average long time MPG wasn’t a lot higher than my regular Q5. Too many indicators to monitor and drive modes to control in my humble opinion. Sport/normal/eco is all one needs (+ race on performance cars, which it isn’t of course). I’d go SQ5 if I could afford the premium , but will stay with the regular Q5. I gave it an honest shot and it didn’t work for me, but to e ch his own.

Mine is a 2021 but so far, we love it! The must features are adaptive cruise control, ventilated seats, and 360 camera. The electric range is a pleasant surprise seeing 23-25 miles. The home link feature took some research to find location and how to program. So far, so good!

The Q5 plug-in hybrid launched as a 2020 model. Nothing about the powertrain changed for 2021, but Audi introduced a new and better infotainment system. Those features carried over for 2022, but Audi also made the battery pack bigger. Adaptive cruise control became standard for 2023, making that model year the one to have, as only small changes are expected for 2024.

The plug-in hybrid offers greater efficiency and greater power, without compromising the basic package of the Q5. However, it's also much more expensive than non-hybrid Q5 models, although constantly fluctuating prices for electrified vehicles mean that may not be reflected in the used-vehicle market. And keep in mind that a plug-in hybrid doesn't deliver any real benefit unless it's plugged in regularly.
Is the Audi Q5 Hybrid Plug-In a reliable car?
The 2023 Audi Q5 scored 73 out of 100 points in J.D. Power's consumer ratings, but J.D. Power doesn't break out results for the plug-in hybrid model. That score put the Q5 outside the top four in the Compact Premium SUV category.
