The Acura RSX is celebrated by drivers for its sporty design, reliable performance, and enjoyable driving experience across all model years. Owners appreciate its strong handling and good fuel economy, with many acknowledging the fun factor brought by its high-revving engine and overall sporty feel. However, some drivers mentioned concerns about lacking power at lower speeds, interior quality issues, and ride comfort due to a stiff suspension. Overall, the RSX is viewed as a reliable and exciting choice for those seeking a blend of performance and everyday practicality.

Good acceleration, and pretty good suspension, even for the base model. The Vtec really helps both with power and gas mileage. Barely uses any gas, and it's decently sporty. Overall the car is perfect for what it was made for.

I love so many things about my car such as; the power it produces for being a 4 cylinder, the front bucket leather seats may be my favorite feature, the gas mileage is also great, but overall my favorite thing is the cars reliability. What I wish it had; all wheel drive, power and memory seats, heated seats, slightly better handling. But 1 reason it gets great gas mileage is that the car is light compared to other vehicles with better handling therefore; I would compromise a little of the fuel economy to gain slightly better handling.

The RSX was Acura's short-lived replacement for its popular Integra. First produced in 2002, the RSX was available in two trims: the standard two-door hatchback and the sportier Type S.
The Acura RSX was based on the Honda Civic platform, and comparisons to its less-expensive cousin dogged the RSX throughout its existence. Many said they felt they got more car for their dollars on the Civic, while the RSX owners tended to take the opposite argument.
The engine for the RSX was a 2.0-liter I4 throughout its lifetime with horsepower hovering between 150-160 for the standard trim and 200-210 for the Type S. Torque remained at 141 lb-ft for the standard and at 143 lb-ft for the Type S.
The standard trim was offered as both a 5-speed automatic and a 5-speed manual, while the Type S was available only as a 6-speed manual. The last RSX was produced in 2006 as Acura made the TSX its entry-level coupe.
