New & Used 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale near Lawton, OK

Is the 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

The 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns a 7.3/10 expert rating, and the standout strength is Safety at 9/10. It’s a strong fit if you want a luxury SUV that leans into comfort, technology, and a wide range of powertrains rather than outright flash. Mercedes gives you a refreshed exterior, a standard MBUX Superscreen, and hands-on Level 2 driver assistance, so the GLE feels current without losing its family-focused character. The main trade-offs are that the most powerful versions get expensive, and the GLE still prioritizes comfort over sportiness. Good and great deals account for 32.2% of listings, which suggests there’s at least some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

The 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLE is built around a broad set of updated powertrains, standard 4Matic all-wheel drive, and a nine-speed automatic, which points to a well-developed mechanical package. Mercedes also says the new engine range brings improved responsiveness, including an electric compressor on the turbo-four and revised hardware for the inline-six and V8. On the ownership side, the plug-in hybrid adds DC fast charging, and Mercedes says it can complete a 10-80% charge in 29 minutes. For used buyers, the long-term risk is mainly tied to the complexity of the newer tech and powertrain lineup, especially if you’re shopping a higher-spec model.

What should I look for when buying a used 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim or more complex powertrain. Focus on condition, maintenance records, and whether the equipment you want is actually present on the specific vehicle you’re looking at. If you’re shopping a plug-in hybrid or a heavily optioned model, make sure the charging and luxury features work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Entry-level models use MB-Tex artificial leather and a lot of grained plastic, while higher trims can add wood trim, real leather, and more vibrant upholstery colors. The standard equipment list is already generous, but the cabin quality improves as you move up the range.
• Powertrain: The lineup includes a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six, a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8, and plug-in hybrid setups. Mercedes says the engines were revised for 2027, and the base engine uses an electric compressor to help reduce lag.
• Safety package: Standard driver-assistance features include lane-keep assist, blind-spot monitors, forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, a stop light, traffic-sign and speed-limit recognition, evasive steering assist, and adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality. A parking-assist system and surround-view camera are available, and Mercedes says the sensor suite can support more advanced assistance later.
• Infotainment: The standard setup is the MBUX Superscreen with three 12.3-inch displays, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are retained. The system runs MB.OS, and an augmented-reality head-up display is available.
• Fuel efficiency: The turbo-four is rated at 23 mpg combined (21 mpg city, 26 mpg highway), and the turbo-six is rated at 21 mpg combined (19 mpg city, 24 mpg highway). The plug-in hybrid also supports DC fast charging.

Which 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 6 trim levels: GLE 350 4Matic, GLE 450 4Matic, GLE 500e 4Matic, GLE 580 4Matic, AMG GLE 53 Hybrid, and AMG GLE 63 S.

Here’s the short version:

• GLE 350 4Matic: This is the entry point, and it gives you the standard luxury-SUV basics with the turbo-four, all-wheel drive, and the core comfort and tech features. It’s the most affordable way into the lineup, but it’s also the one most likely to feel basic compared with the richer trims.
• GLE 450 4Matic: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it adds the stronger inline-six and keeps the GLE’s comfort-first character without jumping into the highest price brackets. If you want the sweet spot between performance, refinement, and cost, this is the trim to target.
• GLE 500e 4Matic: Choose this if you want plug-in hybrid capability and the added electric driving range, plus DC fast charging. It makes the most sense if you can regularly charge at home or work.
• GLE 580 4Matic: This is the V8 choice, and it’s the one that turns the GLE into a more special luxury SUV. It’s expensive, but the added power and relaxed character make it the standout for buyers who want the top non-AMG experience.
• AMG GLE 53 Hybrid: This trim adds AMG-specific hardware, including an AMG transmission, AMG suspension, and AMG brakes, along with more power. It’s the pick if you want the performance-oriented version of the plug-in hybrid idea.
• AMG GLE 63 S: This is the top performance model, with the most power and its own chassis upgrades. It’s for buyers who want the most aggressive GLE and are willing to pay for it.

Mercedes says the standard driver-assistance suite is broad, and the sensor suite can support more advanced systems later.

Should I buy a 2027 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2027 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2027 if:

• 32.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• It brings a major refresh with new styling, upgraded tech, and revised powertrains.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It offers broad configuration choice and strong luxury appeal.

The bottom line: If you want the newest tech, updated powertrains, and the freshest version of the GLE, the 2027 is the better path. If you’re more price-sensitive and mainly want the core Mercedes luxury-SUV formula, the 2026 is worth a look because it should deliver much of the same day-to-day experience for less.
