Used Lexus NX Hybrid for Sale nearFort Lauderdale, FL

Is the 2027 Lexus NX Hybrid a good car?

The 2027 Lexus NX Hybrid earns a 7.8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

Lexus makes hybrid power the whole point for 2027, and that gives the NX a clear identity as a smooth, efficiency-focused luxury crossover rather than a conventional gas SUV. It also gets a modern, easy-to-use cabin with a 14-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, which helps the NX feel straightforward and polished.

The trade-offs are real, though: the back seat is cramped, cargo space is limited, and the interior can feel a bit cold. Even so, if you want refined hybrid performance and user-friendly tech in a premium small crossover, the NX makes a strong case. Good and great deals account for 30.8% of listings, which suggests there’s still some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2027 Lexus NX Hybrid reliable?

The 2027 Lexus NX Hybrid is built around new-generation hybrid powertrains, and Lexus says the setup is tuned for less unwanted noise and vibration. The result is a smooth, seamless handoff between the electric motor and gas engine, with effortless acceleration from a stop and a light, lively feel on the road.

Lexus also updated the chassis with a stiffer body structure, new shock absorbers on non-F Sport models, an upgraded steering rack, and a new brake-control system designed to settle the vehicle during sudden maneuvers. On the ownership side, the NX’s efficiency focus and hybrid-only lineup point to a low-stress daily driver, and Lexus says the plug-in hybrid’s battery and hybrid system were revised for more electric range.

For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about the powertrain and more about whether you can live with the NX’s tighter cabin and modest cargo space over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2027 Lexus NX Hybrid?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing trims with different wheel sizes, suspension tuning, or available equipment. Pay close attention to cabin condition, rear-seat comfort, and cargo usability, since those are the NX’s most obvious practical compromises.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Premium and Premium+ grades ride on 18-inch wheels and use perforated faux leather seating, while Luxury trims get leather and F Sport models add their own exterior trim pieces, gloss-black accents, exclusive 20-inch wheels, and available red brake calipers. The base setup is more functional than warm, so if you want a richer cabin, look for a trim with wood decor.
• Powertrain: The NX is hybrid-only for 2027, with a 350h hybrid and a 450h+ plug-in hybrid. The revised 2.5-liter four-cylinder is tuned for less noise and vibration, and the hybrid system is described as smooth and seamless.
• Safety package: Every NX comes with Lexus Safety System+ 4.0, including forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, Risk Avoidance Emergency Steer Assist, Intersection Turn Assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assist, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, traffic-sign recognition, high-beam assist, and Proactive Driving Assist. Standard blind-spot monitors, front and rear cross-traffic alert, a driver monitor, parking assist, rear pedestrian detection, and lane-change and trailering-assist features are also included.
• Infotainment: Every trim gets a 14-inch center touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air software updates, and an integrated Drive Recorder. Connected features include voice control, Cloud Navigation, Destination Assist, a Wi-Fi hotspot, SiriusXM with 360L, and Spotify connectivity.
• Fuel efficiency: Lexus estimates the FWD 350h at 44 mpg city, 35 mpg highway, and 40 mpg combined. AWD versions are estimated at 42/34/38 mpg city/highway/combined, the F Sport at 41/34/38 mpg, and the 450h+ at 39/35/37 mpg when running as a hybrid, with 45 miles of all-electric range.

Which 2027 Lexus NX Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2027 Lexus NX Hybrid is offered in 4 trim levels: Premium, Premium+, F Sport, and Luxury.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core NX experience with the standard hybrid setup, the 14-inch touchscreen, the 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, and the full safety suite. It’s the trim to start with if you want the NX’s main strengths without paying for extras.
• Premium+: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds more polish while staying close to the core formula. You get the same easy-to-use tech and hybrid efficiency, plus a more upscale presentation than the base setup.
• F Sport: Choose this if you want the NX with the most distinctive look. It adds unique exterior trim, gloss-black accents, exclusive 20-inch wheels, and available red brake calipers, but it’s more about style than a major change in character.
• Luxury: This is the trim to buy if you want the richest cabin. It gets leather seating and the most upscale feel of the group, making it the best fit if interior ambiance matters most to you.

Every NX includes Lexus Safety System+ 4.0, so you’re getting the same core driver-assistance package across the lineup.

Choose the 2027 if:

• 30.8% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• It goes hybrid-only, with a smoother powertrain and a much better standard tech setup.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It offers strong efficiency and a more traditional hybrid value proposition.

The bottom line: Buy the 2027 if you want the most modern NX Hybrid experience, especially the updated cabin tech and hybrid-only lineup. If you’re mainly chasing value and can find a well-kept older example, the previous year is worth a look for price-sensitive shopping.
