Used Lexus NX Hybrid for Sale nearFort Myers, FL

Is the 2027 Lexus NX Hybrid a good car?

The 2027 Lexus NX Hybrid earns 7.8/10 from our experts. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

It stands out for its smooth hybrid powertrains, easy-to-use technology, and fuel-efficient setup. The main trade-offs are a cramped back seat and not much cargo space, and the interior design can feel a bit cold on some trims.

With 33.1% of listings priced as good or great deals, you have a decent number of value opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2027 Lexus NX Hybrid reliable?

The 2027 Lexus NX Hybrid is built around revised hybrid hardware, including a retuned 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and a more compact e-Axle, and Lexus says the setup is designed to cut unwanted noise and vibration. That points to a powertrain focused on smoothness and refinement rather than complexity for its own sake.

The hybrid system’s seamless handoff between electric motor and gas engine is a strong sign for everyday dependability, and the chassis updates are aimed at making the crossover feel more settled and composed. Lexus also says the plug-in version’s battery has been revised with more capacity and output, which suggests continued development rather than a rushed carryover.

Lexus includes over-the-air software updates and an integrated Drive Recorder, and the brand’s standard safety suite adds a broad layer of driver assistance. For used buyers, the long-term risk is less about outright mechanical drama and more about whether you can live with the NX’s tighter packaging over time.

What should I look for when buying a used 2027 Lexus NX Hybrid?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re comparing multiple trims or looking at a higher-mileage example. Focus on cabin condition, rear-seat usability, and cargo-area wear, since those are the NX’s most obvious practical compromises.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: Premium and Premium+ grades ride on 18-inch wheels, while Luxury trims get leather and F Sport models add their own exterior trim pieces, gloss-black accents, exclusive 20-inch wheels, and available red brake calipers. The base setup is more functional than plush, so higher trims matter if you want more warmth and visual polish.
• Powertrain: The NX is hybrid-only for 2027, with a 350h hybrid and a 450h+ plug-in hybrid. The 350h uses a revised 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and delivers smooth, effortless acceleration, though it can feel a little flat when passing at speed.
• Safety package: Every NX comes standard with Lexus Safety System+ 4.0, including forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, Risk Avoidance Emergency Steer Assist, Intersection Turn Assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assist, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, traffic-sign recognition, high-beam assist, and Proactive Driving Assist. Every NX also gets blind-spot monitors, front and rear cross-traffic alert, a driver monitor, parking assist, rear pedestrian detection, and lane-change and trailering-assist features.
• Infotainment: All trims get a 14-inch center touchscreen, a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, over-the-air updates, and an integrated Drive Recorder. Premium, Premium+, and F SPORT grades come with a 10-speaker audio system, while a 17-speaker Mark Levinson system is available.
• Fuel efficiency: Lexus estimates the FWD 350h at 44 mpg city, 35 mpg highway, and 40 mpg combined. AWD versions are estimated at 42/34/38 mpg city/highway/combined, the F Sport at 41/34/38 mpg, and the 450h+ at 39/35/37 mpg when running as a hybrid, with 45 miles of all-electric range.

Which 2027 Lexus NX Hybrid trim should I buy?

The 2027 Lexus NX Hybrid is offered in 4 trim levels: Premium, Premium+, F Sport, Luxury.

Here's the short version:

• Premium: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core NX hybrid experience with the standard tech suite, strong efficiency, and the broad safety package. It makes sense if you want the NX’s main strengths without paying for extra appearance or comfort upgrades.
• Premium+: This is the best-value choice for many shoppers because it adds more equipment while staying close to the lower end of the range. If you want a nicer daily driver without jumping all the way to the more expensive trims, this is the one to target.
• F Sport: Choose this if you want the most distinctive look, with exclusive exterior trim pieces, gloss-black accents, and 20-inch wheels. It also gets AWD standard, but the appeal here is mainly style and a sportier presentation rather than a true performance leap.
• Luxury: This is the trim to buy if you want the most upscale cabin, since it gets leather and the most premium-feeling interior treatment. If you care most about comfort and cabin ambiance, this is the top pick.

Every NX comes standard with Lexus Safety System+ 4.0, so even the lower trims get a full safety suite.

It includes Lexus Safety System+ 4.0 with forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, Risk Avoidance Emergency Steer Assist, Intersection Turn Assist, adaptive cruise control, lane-centering assist, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, traffic-sign recognition, high-beam assist, and Proactive Driving Assist.

Beyond that, every NX also gets blind-spot monitors, front and rear cross-traffic alert, a driver monitor, parking assist, rear pedestrian detection, and lane-change and trailering-assist features. That gives you a broad standard safety net across the lineup.

It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.

Should I buy a 2027 Lexus NX Hybrid or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2027 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2027 if:

• 33.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 98.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• It adds hybrid-only powertrains, a 14-inch touchscreen, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel.

Consider the 2026 if:

• It emphasizes thrift, luxury, and advanced tech with a more traditional hybrid focus.

The bottom line: If you want the newest NX Hybrid with the strongest tech setup and the latest hybrid-only lineup, the 2027 is the better target. If you’re shopping mainly for value and can live with the older setup, the 2026 is the smarter price-sensitive alternative.
