New & Used 2027 Honda Passport for Sale nearColorado Springs, CO

Is the 2027 Honda Passport a good car?

The 2027 Honda Passport earns a 7.8/10 expert rating, and it is aimed at you if you want a two-row midsize SUV that balances everyday comfort with real utility. The standout strength is Safety at 9/10. It also fits buyers who want a practical, capable crossover without moving up to a larger three-row SUV, thanks to its comfortable ride, generous cargo space, and easier maneuverability than a bigger SUV.

The trade-offs are clear: it is thirstier than most rivals, and it does not offer a hybrid option. It also carries a higher starting price than many competitors, even though it brings a strong standard equipment list.

With 35.2% of listings marked as good or great deals, you have some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2027 Honda Passport reliable?

The 2027 Honda Passport is presented as a well-rounded, practical SUV with a strong standard equipment list and a comfortable, easy-to-live-with layout. Its standard V6 is described as smooth in highway acceleration, and the Passport’s overall setup is aimed at everyday usefulness rather than complexity.

The expert evaluation also points to a model that feels thoughtfully equipped, with standard safety and tech features that support low-stress ownership. The cost-effectiveness notes suggest that the Passport’s value improves as you move up the trim ladder, especially when you compare the equipment you get for the money.

For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk is more about higher running costs and fuel use than about a lack of capability.

What should I look for when buying a used 2027 Honda Passport?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and inspect any candidate carefully, even with a strong clean-inventory rate. Pay close attention to seat comfort, cabin condition, and whether the features you want are actually present on the trim you are considering. If you are shopping a TrailSport, make sure the off-road hardware and camera systems are working as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The RTL has a rugged look with standard gray cloth and leather seats, while TrailSport models add better materials, textured topographical map mats, easy-to-clean leatherette seating surfaces, and more off-road-oriented details. The base trim also shows some harder plastics around the shifter, wireless charger, and cupholders.
• Powertrain: The Passport uses a standard V6 with 280 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It is smooth on the highway and has enough torque for low-speed off-road maneuvering, but it does not offer a hybrid option.
• Safety package: Every Passport comes with Honda Sensing, which includes automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, adaptive cruise control, high-beam assist, road-departure mitigation, and a driver-attention monitor. Standard equipment also includes blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, parking sensors, a rear-seat reminder, and a multi-angle rearview camera. The surround-view camera system is optional.
• Infotainment: The Passport comes with a 12.3-inch infotainment screen, a 10.2-inch digital cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Google built-in, wireless phone charging, and four USB charging ports. TrailSport models add the TrailWatch camera system, a front camera washer, a heated windshield, ambient lighting, and power-folding side mirrors.
• Fuel efficiency: The Passport is described as thirstier than most rivals, but no MPG figure is stated.

Which 2027 Honda Passport trim should I buy?

The 2027 Honda Passport is offered in 3 trim levels: RTL, TrailSport, TrailSport Elite.

Here's the short version:

• RTL: This is the starting point and already comes with a strong tech and safety list, standard all-wheel drive, and a premium-feeling cabin for the class. It makes sense if you want the Passport’s core strengths without paying for extra off-road or luxury equipment.
• TrailSport: This is the best-value trim. It adds the off-road-focused hardware and camera tech that make the Passport more compelling, and the cost-effectiveness notes call it the sweet spot for this model.
• TrailSport Elite: This is the most upscale choice, adding the 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, rain-sensing wipers, and a hands-free and walk-away-close liftgate. Choose it if you want the most comfort and convenience features.

Every Passport comes standard with Honda Sensing, and the surround-view camera system is the only optional safety feature of note.

Should I buy a 2027 Honda Passport or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2027 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2027 if:

• 35.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• The refreshed TrailSport trims add upgraded suspension, extra ground clearance, and a standard surround-view camera system.

Consider the 2026 if:

• The redesign brought a major new look, a new cabin, and a more rugged identity.

The bottom line: If you want the latest TrailSport upgrades and strong standard equipment, the 2027 is the better target. If you are shopping mainly on price, the 2026 can still make sense because it delivers the core Passport formula with the same roomy, versatile character.
