New & Used 2026 Nissan Murano for Sale nearChester, CT

Is the 2026 Nissan Murano a good car?

The 2026 Nissan Murano is a strong choice if you want a midsize SUV that leans more upscale and comfort-focused than sporty. Its redesign gives it a cleaner, more modern cabin and a more premium feel, while the traditional nine-speed automatic helps it feel more responsive than the CVT setup used before.

You also get a generous standard equipment list, including a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, and Nissan Safety Shield 360. Higher trims add features like Google Built-in, a Bose audio system, a surround-view camera system, ventilated and massaging front seats, heated rear seats, and a head-up display.

The tradeoffs are that it is not especially engaging to drive, its cargo area is still somewhat small for the class, and pricing climbs into luxury-adjacent territory. Even so, the market backdrop is favorable, with 40.9% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Nissan Murano reliable?

The 2026 Nissan Murano presents itself as a polished, comfort-oriented SUV with a modern cabin and a conventional automatic transmission that should feel more familiar than the CVT it replaces. It also comes with a broad set of standard safety and convenience features, which adds to its appeal for everyday use.

Its strong safety results and upscale positioning support confidence for shoppers who want a well-equipped midsize SUV. For long-term ownership, you should still plan on careful maintenance and a thorough pre-purchase inspection, since any used luxury-leaning SUV can become costly if prior care was inconsistent.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Nissan Murano?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s condition matches the listing photos and description. Pay extra attention to the cabin electronics, touchscreen functions, driver-assistance features, and any signs of wear that might matter more on a feature-rich SUV.

Because the Murano is positioned as a comfort-first model, focus your inspection on how well the interior, seats, and technology have held up rather than just the odometer reading.

Should I buy a 2026 Nissan Murano or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 40.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It introduced the Murano’s major redesign and brought a fresh, comfort-focused identity.

The bottom line: If you want the most current version of the Murano’s upscale redesign, the 2026 is the better primary path. If you are more price-sensitive, the 2025 is worth a look because it delivers the core redesign benefits and may offer a lower entry point.
