New & Used 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearPortland, OR

How much does the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 2.18% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,329 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing trims and prices.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns an expert rating of 6.67/10.

The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

It fits well if you want a midsize luxury SUV that emphasizes comfort, premium materials, and a broad range of configurations. The cabin is a highlight, and the tech suite is a major plus, but the trade-offs are real: the styling is uninspired and the ride quality is poor.

The GLE also has a few notable compromises in the expert evaluation, including a performance score of 4/10 and the fact that advanced safety features are not standard.

With 35.5% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE is positioned as a mainstream luxury SUV with a four-year/50,000-mile warranty and roadside assistance, which helps support ownership confidence. Its powertrain setup is described as modern and broad-ranging, and the expert evaluation notes that the GLE is a likeable luxury SUV despite its bland styling.

The performance write-up also points to a quiet cabin and decent fuel economy in long-distance driving, which are good signs for everyday usability. Mercedes includes a limited subscription to connected services, but the ownership package is not especially generous compared with some rivals.

For used buyers, the bigger long-term risk is that the GLE does not hold its value as well as some competitors, so depreciation can be a meaningful ownership cost.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

Even with a strong share of clean listings, you should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the specific car you’re considering has no hidden damage or title issues. A pre-purchase inspection is especially important here because ride quality and suspension behavior are central to the GLE’s character. You should also pay close attention to cabin condition, tech operation, and whether the equipment on the car matches the trim and packages advertised.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The standard GLE lineup spans 10 versions, from the GLE 350 with rear-wheel drive and a turbocharged four-cylinder engine to the AMG GLE 63 S Coupe with standard AWD and a hand-built twin-turbo V8. The GLE 450 adds a turbocharged inline-six with mild-hybrid technology, and the Manufaktur Edition Package layers in exclusive paint, 21-inch wheels, a Night Package, Nappa leather, and the Driver Assistance Package. The base trim is the least expensive, while the GLE 450 stands out as the best-value choice if you want a stronger mix of equipment and refinement.
• Powertrain: The GLE 450 uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with mild-hybrid technology, producing 375 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque through a nine-speed automatic. The lineup also includes a turbo-four and a plug-in hybrid variant, and the GLE 450 returns 21 mpg in combined driving.
• Safety package: Standard safety equipment includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, safe-exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, Pre-Safe Sound, front and rear sensors, a surround-view camera system, and a semi-automated parking system. The Driver Assistance Package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep and centering assist, evasive steering assist, front cross-traffic braking assist, and speed-management functions tied to road signs, curves, and following distances.
• Infotainment: The MBUX system uses a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard, and the Exclusive Package adds a Burmester surround-sound system, Dolby Atmos, augmented-reality navigation, and online music streaming.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLE 450 returns 21 mpg in combined driving.

Which 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 10 trim levels: GLE 350, GLE 450, GLE 450e, AMG GLE 53, AMG GLE 53 Coupe, GLE 580, GLE 580 Coupe, AMG GLE 63 S, AMG GLE 63 S Coupe, and Manufaktur Edition.

Here's the short version:

• GLE 350: This is the entry point, and it gives you the lowest price in the lineup. It makes sense if you want the GLE name and basic luxury-SUV space without stretching for more power or equipment.
• GLE 450: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds the turbocharged inline-six, mild-hybrid tech, and a stronger overall equipment mix. It also pairs well with the available packages if you want to build a more complete luxury SUV.
• GLE 450e: Choose this if you want the plug-in hybrid setup and the estimated 49 miles of electric-only range. It’s the efficiency-focused option in the standard GLE family.
• AMG GLE 53: This is the step for buyers who want more performance character than the regular trims provide. It suits you if you care more about power and sportier tuning than maximum comfort.
• AMG GLE 53 Coupe: Pick this if you want the AMG 53 formula in the coupe body style. It’s for shoppers who value style and performance together.
• GLE 580: This is the V8-powered choice for buyers who want more muscle without going all the way to the top AMG models. It’s the right fit if you want strong straight-line performance in a luxury package.
• GLE 580 Coupe: Choose this if you want the V8 and the coupe body style together. It’s the more style-forward version of the V8 GLE.
• AMG GLE 63 S: This is the high-performance flagship for the standard body style, with a hand-built twin-turbo V8 and standard AWD. It’s for buyers who want the most aggressive version of the GLE.
• AMG GLE 63 S Coupe: This is the most expensive coupe version and the most extreme expression of the lineup. It suits you if you want maximum performance and the coupe look.
• Manufaktur Edition: This is the appearance-and-equipment upgrade to consider if you want a more distinctive GLE 450. The package content makes it especially appealing if you value the added luxury touches and the included Driver Assistance Package.

The Driver Assistance Package is not standard on the GLE, so make sure the specific trim you’re considering includes it if advanced driver aids matter to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, with enough inventory and pricing softness to make comparison shopping worthwhile.

• Deal availability: 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,329 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.18% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 97.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $68,068, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $69,259 sits slightly below last year's $70,800.

That price movement suggests the GLE has softened enough to help used buyers, but it also means sellers may need to be realistic on asking price. If you own one, the current market points to moderate depreciation rather than strong value retention.

For a future seller, that means condition, mileage, and equipment will matter a lot when it’s time to list. Well-equipped examples should still attract interest, but you should expect competition from plenty of similar listings.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE safe?

The GLE earns a Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS, but the front-crash prevention tech earned low ratings.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard safety tech includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, safe-exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, Pre-Safe Sound, front and rear sensors, a surround-view camera system, and a semi-automated parking system.

Many of the more advanced driver aids are reserved for the Driver Assistance Package, which adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep and centering assist, evasive steering assist, front cross-traffic braking assist, and speed-management functions tied to road signs, curves, and following distances. Active Emergency Stop Assist is also part of that package.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you should verify package content carefully on any used example.

Should I buy a 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 35.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.18% compared with last year.
• It adds a stronger tech-and-luxury mix, plus a new Manufaktur Edition and standard AMG Line treatment on the GLE 450.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $61,684, the 2025 costs less than the current year's $69,259 average.
• It remains a solid choice in a competitive class.

Consider the 2027 if:

• It gets a major refresh with new styling, updated tech, and upgraded powertrains.
• It adds a standard MBUX Superscreen and hands-on Level 2 driver assistance.

The bottom line: If you want the current-year GLE with softer pricing and strong inventory, the 2026 is the better path. If your priority is saving money, the 2025 is the value play. If you’d rather wait for a more substantial update, the 2027 brings the bigger changes.
