New & Used 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearLondon, KY

How much does the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 4.14% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,158 listings available, which suggests you have a healthy amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns an 6.7/10 expert rating, and its appeal is strongest if you want a luxury SUV with premium interior materials and impressive technology.

The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

It offers a broad range of body styles and powertrains, and the cabin is described as elegant and well crafted. The trade-offs are clear: the styling is uninspired, the ride quality is poor, and advanced safety features are not standard.

The market still looks reasonably favorable, with 35.0% of listings marked as good or great deals.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

The GLE is positioned as a mainstream luxury SUV with a four-year/50,000-mile warranty and roadside assistance, which gives you a standard ownership safety net.

Its powertrain is described as modern and capable, with a mild-hybrid turbocharged inline-six and a nine-speed automatic transmission. The review also notes that Mercedes includes a limited subscription to connected services, and that some rivals add more value through complimentary scheduled maintenance.

For used buyers, the bigger long-term risk is that ownership costs and value retention may be less favorable than some competitors.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-trim example with more equipment. Focus on ride quality, suspension condition, and whether the features you want are actually included on the specific listing.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base GLE 350 is the least-expensive model and is the only one without standard AWD, while higher trims add more equipment and visual distinction. The Manufaktur Edition Package adds exclusive paint, 21-inch wheels, a Night Package, Nappa premium leather, and the Driver Assistance Package.
• Powertrain: The lineup includes four-, six-, and eight-cylinder engines, and the GLE 450 uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder with mild-hybrid technology. The plug-in hybrid GLE 450e is also mentioned as offering 49 miles of estimated electric-only range.
• Safety package: The standard suite includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, safe-exit assist, automatic high beams, Pre-Safe Sound, parking sensors, a surround-view camera, and a semi-automated parking system. The Driver Assistance Package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep and centering assist, evasive steering assist, front cross-traffic braking assist, and Active Emergency Stop Assist.
• Infotainment: The MBUX system uses a 12.3-inch digital driver display and a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are standard. The Exclusive Package adds Burmester audio, Dolby Atmos, augmented-reality navigation, and online music streaming.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLE 450 is rated at 21 mpg in combined driving, and the review says it matched that figure in testing.

Which 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 10 trim levels: GLE 350, GLE 450, GLE 450e, AMG GLE 53, AMG GLE 63 S, GLE 350 Coupe, GLE 450 Coupe, GLE 450e Coupe, AMG GLE 53 Coupe, AMG GLE 63 S Coupe.

Here's the short version:

• GLE 350: This is the entry point, and it’s the one to consider if you want the lowest starting price and can live without standard AWD.
• GLE 450: This is the best-value choice for most shoppers because it adds the turbocharged inline-six and standard AWD, giving you the strongest balance of power and everyday appeal.
• GLE 450e: Choose this if you want the plug-in hybrid setup and the estimated electric-only range mentioned in the review.
• AMG GLE 53: This is the step-up choice if you want a more performance-focused version without going all the way to the top AMG model.
• AMG GLE 63 S: This is the most extreme performance option, with the hand-built twin-turbo V8 and standard AWD.
• GLE 350 Coupe: Pick this if you want the coupe body style and are willing to pay more for the styling.
• GLE 450 Coupe: This is the coupe version that best mirrors the standard GLE 450’s balance of power and equipment.
• GLE 450e Coupe: Choose this if you want the coupe body style plus the plug-in hybrid setup.
• AMG GLE 53 Coupe: This is the coupe choice for buyers who want a sportier character.
• AMG GLE 63 S Coupe: This is the top coupe model, aimed at buyers who want the most powerful and most distinctive version.

The Driver Assistance Package is not standard, so make sure the listing you’re considering includes it if those features matter to you.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you’re patient.

• Deal availability: 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,158 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.14% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 97.0% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $68,073, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $69,176 sits slightly below last year's $72,165.

That decline suggests the GLE is currently softer on the used market than it was a year ago. If you’re buying, that can work in your favor because you may be entering at a lower price point than recent shoppers faced.

If you’re planning to sell later, the same trend means you should expect some depreciation pressure. A well-equipped, clean example should still be easier to move than a neglected one, but the market is not signaling strong value retention right now.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE safe?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns a Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS, but the review notes that its front-crash prevention tech earned low ratings.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety tech includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, safe-exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, Pre-Safe Sound, parking sensors, a surround-view camera, and a semi-automated parking system.

Many of the more advanced driver aids are reserved for the Driver Assistance Package, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keep and centering assist, evasive steering assist, front cross-traffic braking assist, and Active Emergency Stop Assist. That means you’ll want to verify package content carefully if you want the fullest safety feature set.

Should I buy a 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 35.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 4.14% compared with last year.
• It adds a standard AMG Line exterior on the six-cylinder GLE 450 and a new Manufaktur Edition.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $61,230, the 2025 costs less than the current year's $69,176 average.
• It offers multiple body styles and powertrain choices with a family-friendly luxury focus.

Consider the 2027 if:

• It brings a major refresh with new styling, updated tech, and upgraded powertrains.

The bottom line: The 2026 GLE makes sense if you want the current-year mix of luxury, technology, and broader trim choice, especially with softer pricing than a year ago. If your priority is lower purchase cost, the 2025 is the better value path; if you want the newest redesign direction, the 2027 is the one to watch.
