New & Used 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE for Sale nearFlorence, SC

How much does the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE cost?

Prices have softened 2.79% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,293 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE a good car?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns an 6.7/10 expert rating.

The standout strength is Technology at 9/10.

It is a broad-appeal midsize luxury SUV that offers standard and coupe body styles, plus four-, six-, and eight-cylinder engines, so you can tailor it to your needs. The cabin is a highlight, with premium materials and a polished layout that supports its upscale mission.

The trade-offs are clear: the styling is uninspired, the ride quality is poor, and advanced safety features are not standard. That means you should shop it as a comfort- and equipment-focused luxury SUV, not as the sharpest-driving option in the class.

Good and great deals account for 32.5% of listings, which suggests there are still worthwhile opportunities if you shop carefully.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE reliable?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE is positioned as a mainstream luxury SUV with a four-year/50,000-mile warranty and free roadside assistance. Its powertrain lineup and mild-hybrid setup point to a modern design, and the expert review describes it as a likeable luxury SUV with strong performance potential and impressive technology.

The performance notes also suggest it should be capable in everyday use, with a quiet cabin and decent fuel economy on longer drives. Mercedes includes a limited subscription to connected services, and the brand’s ownership package is straightforward rather than especially generous.

If you buy used, the main long-term risk is that a well-equipped GLE can be expensive to keep feeling its best, especially if you want the smoother setup that the experts preferred.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on higher-mileage or heavily optioned examples. Focus on suspension condition, brake feel, and whether the cabin electronics and driver-assistance features work as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base GLE 350 is the least-expensive model, while the GLE 450 adds a turbocharged inline-six and mild-hybrid technology; the Manufaktur Edition Package adds exclusive paint, 21-inch wheels, a Night Package, Nappa premium leather, and the Driver Assistance Package. The base model is the main trim gap to watch because standard AWD is not included there.
• Powertrain: The GLE 450 uses a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with mild-hybrid technology and a nine-speed automatic transmission. The lineup also includes four-cylinder, six-cylinder, eight-cylinder, and plug-in-hybrid options.
• Safety package: The Driver Assistance Package adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep and centering assist, evasive steering assist, front cross-traffic braking assist, and automatic speed management based on road signs, curves, and following distances. It is not standard.
• Infotainment: The GLE uses dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, biometric profile loading, and a native voice assistant. The Exclusive Package adds a Burmester surround-sound audio system, Dolby Atmos, augmented-reality navigation, and Online Music Streaming.
• Fuel efficiency: The GLE 450 returns 21 mpg in combined driving, and the plug-in hybrid offers 49 miles of estimated electric-only range.

Which 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE trim should I buy?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE is offered in 10 trim levels: GLE 350, GLE 450, GLE 450e, AMG GLE 63 S Coupe, GLE 350 SUV base model, GLE 450 4Matic Coupe, GLE 350 4Matic, GLE 500e 4Matic, GLE 580 4Matic, AMG GLE 53e Hybrid.

Here's the short version:

• GLE 350: This is the entry point, but it is the one to scrutinize most closely because it is the only model called out without standard AWD.
• GLE 450: This is the best-value choice if you want the strongest balance of power, luxury, and everyday usability from the standard GLE body style.
• GLE 450e: Choose this if you want plug-in-hybrid capability and estimated electric-only driving range.
• AMG GLE 63 S Coupe: This is the high-priced performance-oriented choice, with a hand-built twin-turbo V8 and standard AWD.
• GLE 350 SUV base model: This is the least-expensive path into the lineup if you want the standard body style and a turbocharged four-cylinder.
• GLE 450 4Matic Coupe: Pick this if you want the six-cylinder powertrain in the coupe body style.
• GLE 350 4Matic: This is the four-cylinder model with standard AWD.
• GLE 500e 4Matic: This plug-in hybrid pairs an inline-six with an electric motor and is aimed at buyers who want more electric range and more power.
• GLE 580 4Matic: This is the V8-powered option for buyers who want maximum output in the regular lineup.
• AMG GLE 53e Hybrid: This is the plug-in-hybrid performance model for buyers who want the most advanced powertrain in the range.

The Driver Assistance Package is worth seeking out because many safety features are reserved for it.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE?

This is a moderate market for selective buyers, so you should shop with a clear target and compare listings carefully.

• Deal availability: 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,293 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.79% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 97.4% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $68,062, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE's resale value?

The current average of $69,198 sits slightly below last year's $71,184.

That decline suggests the market has softened a bit, which can help you buy more confidently today. For a future seller, it also means you should expect the GLE to face some depreciation pressure unless you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition.

Because the current average is below last year’s level, resale value looks decent but not especially strong relative to the broader luxury-SUV market. If you plan to sell later, a well-optioned example with desirable equipment should be easier to move than a stripped or poorly maintained one.

Is the 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE safe?

The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE earns a Top Safety Pick+ from IIHS, though its front-crash prevention tech earned low ratings.

It earns an 8/10 safety score from our experts.

The standard safety tech includes forward-collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitors, rear cross-traffic alert, safe-exit assist, automatic high-beam headlights, Pre-Safe Sound, front and rear sensors, a surround-view camera system, and a semi-automated parking system.

Many of the more advanced driver aids are reserved for the Driver Assistance Package, which adds adaptive cruise control, lane-keep and centering assist, evasive steering assist, front cross-traffic braking assist, and automatic speed management based on road signs, curves, and following distances. That package also includes Active Emergency Stop Assist.

The main caveat is that advanced safety features are not standard, so you should look for a used example that has the Driver Assistance Package if safety tech matters to you.

Should I buy a 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 32.5% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 97.4% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.79% compared with last year.
• It adds stronger technology and a broader mix of configurations.

Consider the 2025 if:

• At $61,601, the 2025 costs less than the current year's $69,198 average.
• It remains a solid choice in a competitive class.

Consider the 2027 if:

• It brings a major refresh with updated styling, tech, and powertrains.

The bottom line: The 2026 is the right pick if you want the current-year mix of technology, configuration breadth, and softer pricing. If your priority is saving money, the 2025 is the smarter value play; if you want the newest updates, the 2027 is the one to watch.
