New & Used 2026 Mazda CX-30 for Sale nearMinneapolis, MN

Is the 2026 Mazda CX-30 a good car?

Yes — the 2026 Mazda CX-30 earns a 5/5 user rating and a 7.00/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Performance at 9/10. It blends good looks, an upscale interior, and rewarding driving dynamics, and it also brings top-notch safety ratings to the table. The trade-offs are clear: rear seat room is cramped, cargo space is limited, and the infotainment controls can be fussy. If you want a small crossover that feels more premium than many rivals and you care more about driving enjoyment than maximum space, this is a strong fit. Good and great deals account for 39.1% of listings, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Mazda CX-30 reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The CX-30’s reliability case is supported by its promising dependability language and by the way Mazda positions the model around quality, safety, and long-term ownership appeal. The performance notes also point to a lively standard drivetrain that feels satisfying without needing the turbo, which can help you avoid paying for extra complexity you may not need. Mazda also says the brand ranks third behind Toyota and Lexus for long-term reliability. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that you may still be living with a cramped cabin and limited cargo room if those compromises matter to you.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Mazda CX-30?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies. You should still run a history report, prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, and pay close attention to cabin condition, cargo-area wear, and how the infotainment system operates in real use. Because the CX-30’s appeal depends so much on its premium feel, you’ll want to make sure the interior, controls, and driver-assistance features all work as expected.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The S trim is the most basic version, with an 8.8-inch display, wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and basic voice recognition, while higher trims add features like wireless smartphone integration, a larger screen, and more upscale cabin materials. The Aire Edition adds blacked-out exterior trim, white artificial leather upholstery, cloth or simulated suede inserts, and light gray contrast stitching, so it is the trim to focus on if you want the year’s new styling treatment.
• Powertrain: Every CX-30 uses a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, and higher trims add a turbocharger. The standard engine makes 186 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque, while the turbo version increases output to 227 hp and 310 lb-ft on regular gas or 250 hp/320 lb-ft on premium. Mazda says the standard setup is lively enough for most drivers, and it also notes that the turbo is not worth the extra cost for many shoppers.
• Safety package: Standard driver assistance includes adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and a safe exit alert. S Preferred adds front and rear parking sensors plus rear automatic braking, the S Premium and two turbocharged models get a surround-view camera system, and the Turbo Premium Plus adds Cruising and Traffic Support with lane-centering assist.
• Infotainment: The S trim gets an 8.8-inch display with wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, while the S Select Sport adds wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and Alexa built-in. Starting with S Preferred, the screen grows to 10.25 inches and adds touchscreen functionality for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with wireless smartphone charging.
• Fuel efficiency: The standard engine is rated at 27 mpg combined, while the turbo is rated at 25 mpg combined. Mazda also says the standard 2.5 S Aire Edition averaged 28.5 mpg on one test loop and 25.5 mpg on a mountainous route.

Which 2026 Mazda CX-30 trim should I buy?

The 2026 Mazda CX-30 is offered in 8 trim levels: S, S Select Sport, S Preferred, S Aire Edition, S Carbon Edition, S Premium, Turbo Aire Edition, and Turbo Premium Plus.

Here's the short version:

• S: This is the entry point, and it gives you the core CX-30 experience with the standard engine, AWD, an 8.8-inch display, wired smartphone integration, and the full base safety suite. It makes sense if you want the lowest-cost way into the model and do not need the extra convenience features.
• S Select Sport: This is the best-value trim for many shoppers because it adds wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and Alexa built-in without jumping too far up the price ladder. If you want a more modern tech setup without paying for the larger screen or luxury extras, this is the sweet spot.
• S Preferred: This trim is the right move if you want the larger 10.25-inch screen, touchscreen functionality for smartphone apps, wireless charging, front and rear parking sensors, and rear automatic braking. It is the best choice if you want a more polished daily-driver setup.
• S Aire Edition: This is the year’s style-focused trim, with blacked-out exterior details and a distinctive interior treatment that includes white artificial leather upholstery and suede-like accents. Choose it if the new look matters more to you than maximizing value.
• S Carbon Edition: This trim is part of the regular lineup, but the provided data does not add enough detail to separate it clearly from the others here.
• S Premium: This trim adds a surround-view camera system, which is a meaningful upgrade if parking visibility matters to you.
• Turbo Aire Edition: This is for buyers who want the turbocharged powertrain along with the Aire Edition appearance treatment.
• Turbo Premium Plus: This is the top trim, and it adds Mazda’s Cruising and Traffic Support technology with lane-centering assist, plus the turbo powertrain and the most complete feature set.

The safety package is strong across the lineup, but the S Preferred is the first trim that adds rear automatic braking and parking sensors, while the S Premium and turbo models gain the surround-view camera system.

Is the 2026 Mazda CX-30 safe?

Standard driver assistance systems include adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, lane-departure warning, lane-keeping assist, and a safe exit alert. Higher trims add front and rear parking sensors, rear automatic braking, a surround-view camera system, and, on the Turbo Premium Plus, Cruising and Traffic Support with lane-centering assist. • 39.1% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 91.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
