New & Used 2026 Lincoln Aviator for Sale nearKokomo, IN

Is the 2026 Lincoln Aviator a good car?

The 2026 Lincoln Aviator earns a 7.7/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Technology and Safety.

It builds on the Ford Explorer’s strengths while adding a more upscale feel, so you’re getting a more luxurious step-up choice if comfort and style matter most. The Aviator’s smooth ride and cossetting interior are the big draws, and it also keeps the Explorer’s more potent optional engine and decent towing capacity. The tradeoffs are awkward handling and poor third-row comfort, so it fits you best if you value a relaxing cabin more than sharp dynamics or maximum passenger space. With 32.8% of listings priced as good or great deals, the market gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Lincoln Aviator reliable?

The 2026 Lincoln Aviator is positioned as a comfortable, refined luxury SUV, and its powertrain is described as strong and smooth with the transmission staying in the background most of the time. The ride-focused setup emphasizes comfort over sportiness, and the available air suspension adds more control when you want it. Lincoln also includes four years of BlueCruise hands-free highway driving, which adds convenience for long trips.

The Aviator’s standard equipment and smooth-running drivetrain suggest a reassuring ownership experience, especially if you prioritize comfort and modern driver assistance. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is that a premium SUV with this much technology and complexity can be costly to keep in top shape.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Lincoln Aviator?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 93.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a luxury SUV with advanced electronics and driver-assistance systems. Focus on cabin condition, suspension behavior, and whether the tech and safety features operate as expected. If you’re comparing examples, pay close attention to trim content so you know which comfort and convenience features you’re actually getting.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The base Premiere trim has synthetic leather upholstery, while the Reserve adds leather upholstery and more upscale convenience features. The Black Label is the most luxurious version, with curated interior themes and the richest materials, but the base trim leaves you with fewer premium touches.
• Powertrain: Every Aviator uses a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 with 383 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque, paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, AWD is optional on the Premiere and Reserve, and standard on the Black Label.
• Safety package: Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Drive 2.0 is standard and includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection and intersection assist, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, lane-centering steering, high-beam assist, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitors, adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, a driver-attention monitor, a surround-view camera system, and four years of BlueCruise hands-free highway driving.
• Infotainment: You get a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster, a 13.2-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 5.8-inch second-row touchscreen. Standard tech also includes a 5G Wi-Fi hotspot, remote start, digital key functionality, a satellite radio trial, eight USB ports, a universal garage door opener, and a 10-speaker audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The Aviator is EPA-rated at 17 mpg city, 25 mpg highway, and 20 mpg combined.

Which 2026 Lincoln Aviator trim should I buy?

The 2026 Lincoln Aviator is offered in 3 trim levels: Premiere, Reserve, Black Label.

Here's the short version:

• Premiere: This is the entry point, and it gives you the Aviator’s core luxury-SUV formula with standard safety tech, the twin-turbo V6, and the main infotainment setup. It makes sense if you want the least expensive way into the model, but it leaves out some of the richer comfort and convenience upgrades.
• Reserve: This is the best-value trim for most shoppers because it adds real leather upholstery, LED fog lights, ambient lighting, quad-zone automatic climate control, a power tilt/telescoping steering column, a head-up display, a Revel 14-speaker audio system, a wireless phone charger, and larger 21-inch wheels. It also opens the door to the Dynamic Handling package, which is a strong fit if you want more control without giving up the Aviator’s comfort-first character.
• Black Label: This is the plushest Aviator, with curated cabin themes, standard AWD, 22-inch wheels, heated and ventilated rear seats, and a super-comfortable 30-way power-adjustable driver’s seat. It’s the right pick if you want the most luxurious version, but it comes with a big price jump.

Lincoln makes all of its safety features standard, so you don’t need to move up a trim to get the full driver-assistance suite.

Lincoln Co-Pilot360 Drive 2.0 is standard, and it includes forward-collision warning with pedestrian detection and intersection assist, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist, lane-centering steering, high-beam assist, front and rear parking sensors, blind-spot monitors, adaptive cruise control, reverse automatic braking, a driver-attention monitor, a surround-view camera system, and four years of BlueCruise hands-free highway driving.
