New & Used 2026 INFINITI QX80 for Sale near Vermont

Is the 2026 INFINITI QX80 a good car?

The 2026 INFINITI QX80 earns a 7.7/10 expert rating. The standout strength is Form and function at 10/10.

It’s a traditional body-on-frame luxury SUV that’s built around space, towing ability, and refinement, so it makes the most sense if you need to carry up to seven people and tow up to 8,500 pounds. The cabin is described as comfortable and luxurious, and the QX80 adds thoughtful features that help it stand out against rivals.

The trade-offs are clear: it’s heavy, inefficient, and cumbersome to handle, and its fuel economy can be as low as 17 mpg combined. Pricing can also reach six figures, so this is best for you if you’ll actually use its size and towing strength rather than just want a big luxury SUV for everyday commuting.

33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests a moderate market for shoppers who are selective.

Is the 2026 INFINITI QX80 reliable?

The 2026 INFINITI QX80 is described as a modernized full-size SUV with a strong new powertrain, a more rigid body-on-frame platform, and a nine-speed automatic transmission. Its twin-turbo 3.5-liter V6 is said to deliver immediate power, strong passing punch, and smooth gear changes, while the platform is noted for improved torsional rigidity and lateral stiffness.

It also benefits from a standard warranty of 48 months/60,000 miles, and the available air suspension and adaptive dampers are positioned as useful equipment for comfort and capability. For maintenance, the first scheduled visit is covered on the house.

For used buyers, the long-term ownership risk is mainly tied to complexity and size rather than basic capability.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 INFINITI QX80?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report, verify service records, and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially on a large luxury SUV with available air suspension, advanced driver-assistance tech, and multiple screens. Focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake wear, and whether the electronics and suspension operate as intended.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The Pure starts the lineup, while the Luxe adds the air suspension and adaptive dampers along with leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and power-folding second- and third-row seats. The Sport is mainly an appearance package rather than a true performance upgrade, and the Autograph brings the most equipment, including biometric cooling, massaging seats, heated third-row seats, an in-vehicle camera, a front console coolbox, and hands-free ProPilot Assist.
• Powertrain: The QX80 uses a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and four-wheel drive is optional on the lower trims and standard on the upper trims.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes automatic emergency braking, high-beam assist, adaptive cruise control, ProPilot Assist 1.1, forward-collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, active blind-spot monitors that cover a trailer, rear automatic braking, front and rear parking sensors, lane-departure warning, a driver-attention monitor, traffic-sign recognition, and a surround-view camera system with moving object detection. ProPilot Assist 2.1 is the only option.
• Infotainment: You get dual 14.3-inch screens under one piece of glass, Google built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Amazon Alexa compatibility, and a 5G connection for Wi-Fi hotspot and remote services.
• Fuel efficiency: Fuel economy is rated at 15 mpg city, 19 highway, and 17 combined with 4WD, or 16/20/18 mpg with RWD.

Which 2026 INFINITI QX80 trim should I buy?

Here's the short version:

• Pure: This is the entry point, but it’s the least equipped version and is best if you want the lowest starting price.
• Luxe: This is the best-value trim because it adds the air suspension and adaptive dampers, plus leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, and power-folding second- and third-row seats.
• Sport: This trim is mainly an appearance package, so it makes sense if you want the darker exterior and interior treatment rather than extra capability.
• Autograph: This is the most fully loaded choice, with biometric cooling, massaging seats, heated third-row seats, an in-vehicle camera, a front console coolbox, and hands-free ProPilot Assist.

The safety package is standard across the lineup, while ProPilot Assist 2.1 is the only option.

• It adds a new Sport trim level while keeping the redesigned QX80’s luxury, space, and towing strengths.
