How much does the 2026 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have held steady compared to this time last year, signaling a stable and predictable market for this model year.

There are 3,282 listings available, which gives you a solid amount of inventory to compare before you buy.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2026 Honda CR-V stands out as a compact crossover that leans hard into practicality, safety, and everyday ease of use, with a mid-cycle refresh that adds a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging across the lineup. It also balances efficiency with useful space, and the overview highlights comfort, versatility, reliability, and value as core strengths. For you, that means it fits especially well if you want a well-rounded small SUV that prioritizes easy daily use over flash. 41.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which suggests there are still attractive opportunities in the market.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2026 Honda CR-V’s overview emphasizes reliability, safety, and value, while also noting that it has long been known for comfort and versatility. Standard safety equipment includes lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, and adaptive cruise control, which reinforces its reputation as a practical, confidence-inspiring choice. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about complexity and more about making sure the specific vehicle you choose has been maintained well and hasn’t picked up hidden wear from everyday use.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda CR-V?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report to confirm the vehicle’s background and verify that the listing matches the seller’s claims. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with signs of heavy commuting use. Focus your condition check on the cabin, cargo area, tires, brakes, and any signs that the safety and convenience features are working as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda CR-V?

Yes — this looks like a favorable time for buyers, with solid inventory and a meaningful share of well-priced listings.

• Deal availability: 41.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,282 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,459, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $34,351 sits slightly below last year's $34,481.

That small decline suggests the market has been stable rather than volatile, which is helpful if you plan to sell later. A steady price pattern can make it easier to estimate future value because the model is not showing sharp swings in demand. For you, that means the CR-V’s resale outlook looks supported by consistency more than by short-term price spikes. Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 41.0% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have held steady compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the most up-to-date version of the CR-V’s practical formula, the 2026 is the one to target because it adds fresh standard tech and keeps the model’s core strengths intact. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby older year may be the better path, especially if you can find a cleaner or lower-priced example with the equipment you want.
