How much does the 2026 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have softened 2.28% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,165 listings available, which gives you a solid pool of options to compare.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong owner satisfaction. The 2026 Honda CR-V stands out as a compact crossover that leans hard into practicality, safety, and everyday ease of use, with a mid-cycle refresh that adds a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging across the lineup. It also keeps the kind of space and efficiency that make it easy to live with, including 41 inches of rear legroom and up to 76.5 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded.

For you, that means the CR-V makes the most sense if you want a well-rounded small SUV that prioritizes comfort, versatility, and useful tech over flash or sporty handling. 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2026 Honda CR-V’s overview emphasizes practicality, safety, and a proven reputation for comfort, versatility, reliability, and value. It also keeps a strong safety package with lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, and adaptive cruise control.

For used buyers, that combination suggests lower day-to-day ownership stress if the vehicle has been maintained well and hasn’t picked up hidden damage or neglect.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda CR-V?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s records match its condition and mileage. Put inspection priority on the tires, brakes, suspension, and any signs of prior bodywork, since even a strong inventory mix can include individual vehicles with wear or repair history. Focus on how the cabin, infotainment, and safety systems function in real use, because those are the features you’ll interact with most.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda CR-V?

This is a moderate market, so you can shop selectively without expecting a deep buyer’s market.

• Deal availability: 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,165 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.28% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.7% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,453, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $34,549 sits slightly below last year's $35,354.

That price movement suggests the market has eased a bit, which can help you buy more efficiently now, but it also means a future seller may need to price competitively to stand out. The CR-V’s broad appeal, practical packaging, and strong reputation should help support demand, especially if the vehicle is clean, well maintained, and equipped with the features shoppers want most.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 39.2% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.7% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 2.28% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: If you want the freshest version of the CR-V’s practical formula, the 2026 is the best fit because it adds standard tech upgrades and keeps the model’s strong space, safety, and efficiency story intact. If you’re more price-sensitive, a nearby year may still make sense, but the 2026 gives you a compelling mix of features and market softness that can justify paying a bit more for the latest updates.
