How much does the 2026 Honda CR-V cost?

Prices have softened 1.43% compared to this time last year, making it a favorable time to shop this model year.

There are 3,328 listings available, which suggests solid inventory for shoppers comparing prices and trims.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V a good car?

Yes — the 5/5 user rating points to strong shopper satisfaction. The 2026 Honda CR-V stands out as a compact crossover that leans hard into practicality, safety, and everyday ease of use, with a mid-cycle refresh that adds a 9-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and wireless phone charging across the lineup. It also balances efficiency with useful space, and its appeal is strongest if you want a well-rounded small SUV with strong features and a proven reputation. The market also shows 34.3% of listings as good or great deals, which gives you some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Honda CR-V reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction. The 2026 Honda CR-V’s overview emphasizes comfort, versatility, reliability, and value, while also noting standard safety equipment such as lane-keeping assist, road-departure mitigation, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alerts, and adaptive cruise control. Honda also revised the AWD system’s low-speed traction management for better grip on slippery surfaces, which supports its everyday usability. For used buyers, the main long-term ownership risk is less about complexity and more about finding a well-kept example that has been maintained consistently.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Honda CR-V?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report to confirm the listing’s background and verify that the title and service history line up. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection if you’re considering a higher-mileage example or one with visible wear, and focus on overall condition, tire wear, brake feel, interior use, and how the electronics and driver-assist features operate. Because this model year emphasizes practicality and technology, it’s worth making sure the touchscreen, wireless connectivity, and charging setup all work as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2026 Honda CR-V?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop patiently but should move quickly on the right listing.

• Deal availability: 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 3,328 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.43% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 92.6% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $33,452, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2026 Honda CR-V's resale value?

The current average of $34,430 sits slightly below last year's $34,928.

That softer pricing can help you buy more carefully now, but it also suggests future sellers may need to stay competitive if market conditions remain similar. The year-round range is fairly tight, which usually points to steady demand rather than dramatic swings. If you buy well and keep the vehicle in strong condition, you should have a reasonable path to preserving value.

Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 5/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.

Should I buy a 2026 Honda CR-V or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 34.3% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 92.6% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.43% compared with last year.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.

The bottom line: The 2026 is the right pick if you want the freshest version of the CR-V formula, especially with the updated tech and strong market availability. If your priority is stretching your budget, a nearby older year may offer a lower entry price, but the 2026 gives you a compelling mix of features, satisfaction, and shopping flexibility.
