New & Used 2026 Dodge Charger for Sale nearArdmore, OK

Is the 2026 Dodge Charger a good car?

The 2026 Dodge Charger earns a 7.2/10 expert rating, and the standout strength is Performance at 9/10. It brings 550 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque from a turbocharged SIXPACK High Output inline-six, plus standard all-wheel drive and drive modes that keep burnouts, drifting, and donuts part of the experience. That makes it a strong fit if you want a modern muscle car with real straight-line punch and some everyday practicality from its two- and four-door body styles and roomy cabin.

The trade-offs are clear: poor visibility, large exterior dimensions, and interior materials that feel cheap. Even so, the Charger’s mix of power, body-style flexibility, and standard AWD gives it a distinctive appeal for the right buyer. With 28.6% of listings marked as good or great deals, the market offers some room to shop selectively.

Is the 2026 Dodge Charger reliable?

The 2026 Dodge Charger is presented as a modern, high-output performance car with standard all-wheel drive and a turbocharged inline-six, so its dependability story is tied more to its mechanical complexity than to any long-term track record. The expert evaluation emphasizes strong power delivery, broad torque availability, and a drivetrain that feels robust in normal use, while also noting that the car’s performance hardware is meant to support hard driving.

The cost-effectiveness discussion also points out that the Charger is not aimed at buyers seeking a low-stress, low-maintenance commuter. For used buyers, that means long-term ownership risk is likely higher than with a simpler mainstream sedan, especially if the car has been driven hard or modified.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Dodge Charger?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 100% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report, verify service records, and inspect the car closely for signs of hard use, especially on the brakes, tires, wheels, and interior. Because this is a performance-focused car with standard all-wheel drive and multiple drive modes, it’s smart to prioritize a thorough test drive and a pre-purchase inspection that checks for drivetrain, suspension, and electronic issues.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is spacious and modern, but the interior materials feel cheap, and the two-door body style has extremely long doors that make parking and daily use less convenient. The four-door shape is the more practical choice if you want easier access and a better fit for passengers.
• Powertrain: The gas model uses a turbocharged SIXPACK High Output inline-six with 550 horsepower and 531 pound-feet of torque, paired with standard all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The engine delivers strong torque across the rev range, but it can feel abrupt at low speeds.
• Safety package: Active Driving Assist is standard and can manage acceleration and braking while helping keep the car centered in its lane. Standard equipment also includes Forward Collision Warning, Automatic Emergency Braking with Vulnerable Road Users Detection, Active Lane Management, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop and Go, Blind-spot Monitoring with Rear Cross Path detection, Traffic Sign Recognition, and Drowsy Driver Detection. The Scat Pack Plus adds Turn Signal Active Blind Spot View and a 360-degree camera with additional parking views.
• Infotainment: A 12.3-inch touchscreen is standard, along with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster display. Dodge’s Uconnect 5 system includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and Plus models add built-in navigation and a wireless charging pad.
• Fuel efficiency: No fuel economy figure is stated.

Which 2026 Dodge Charger trim should I buy?

The 2026 Dodge Charger is offered in 2 trim levels: R/T and Scat Pack.

Here's the short version:

• R/T: This is the entry point if you want the Charger’s basic formula with 420 horsepower and standard all-wheel drive. It gives you the core muscle-car character at the lower price point, but it does not bring the Scat Pack’s extra performance hardware and features.
• Scat Pack: This is the best-value trim if you want the full Charger experience, because it adds 550 horsepower, standard all-wheel drive, Launch Control, Line Lock, Brembo brakes with six-piston front calipers, and the more aggressive performance tuning that defines the car. If you want the strongest mix of speed, hardware, and character, this is the one to target.

The Scat Pack Plus model adds Turn Signal Active Blind Spot View and a 360-degree camera, which are especially helpful given the Charger’s large size and parking challenges.
