New & Used 2026 Buick Enclave for Sale near Taos, NM

Is the 2026 Buick Enclave a good car?

Yes — you rate it 5/5, and the expert rating is 6.33/10. The model scores 7/10 across Form and function and Safety.

The 2026 Buick Enclave is a mid-sized, mid-luxury three-row SUV that aims for a comfortable middle ground between mainstream family haulers and pricier luxury rivals. It focuses on the basics that matter to many buyers: a spacious cabin in all three rows, a large cargo area, high levels of comfort, and easy-to-use tech.

The trade-offs are clear, though. It is not especially exciting to look at or drive, and the performance is described as middling. Even so, it fits well if you want a refined, comfort-first three-row SUV rather than something sporty or rugged.

Good and great deals account for 42.9% of listings, which suggests there is meaningful shopping room.

Is the 2026 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Enclave’s 2026 update keeps the formula focused on comfort, usability, and upscale presentation rather than complexity. Its standard powertrain is a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder paired with an eight-speed automatic, and the SUV is tuned more for ride quality than aggressive driving. That kind of setup generally points you toward a straightforward ownership experience centered on everyday family use.

The tech and safety systems are also built around mainstream convenience, with standard wireless smartphone integration, a wireless charging pad, and a broad set of driver-assistance features. The performance notes emphasize that the drivetrain is adequate rather than thrilling, which can be a plus if you value calm, predictable operation over hard use.

If you buy used, the main long-term ownership risk is that you may be paying for a premium-feeling SUV without getting premium-brand durability or resale advantages.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Buick Enclave?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report, confirm service records, and prioritize a thorough inspection of the cabin, electronics, and drivetrain behavior. Because this SUV leans heavily on comfort and tech, you will want to make sure the display, controls, and driver-assistance systems all work as intended. It is also worth checking for signs that the seating position and ergonomics suit you, since that is one of the more unusual aspects of the Enclave.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The entry-level Preferred is the value play, while the Sport Touring mainly adds cosmetic changes. The Avenir brings the most upscale feel with premium leather upholstery, upgraded ambient lighting, adaptive dampers, ventilated and massaging front seats, and a stronger premium presentation.
• Powertrain: Every model uses a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic. Front-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is optional.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and steering intervention, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, reverse automatic braking, and a surround-view camera system. SuperCruise is available, but it is not standard.
• Infotainment: You get a 30-inch curved digital display, Google Built-in, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, a WiFi hotspot, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system.
• Fuel efficiency: The Enclave is rated at 22 mpg combined with front-wheel drive and 21 mpg combined with all-wheel drive.

Which 2026 Buick Enclave trim should I buy?

The 2026 Buick Enclave is offered in 3 trim levels: Preferred, Sport Touring, Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the trim to start with if you want the best value. It gives you the Enclave’s core strengths — a spacious three-row cabin, standard wireless smartphone integration, the large curved display, and the full suite of standard driver-assistance features — without paying extra for mostly cosmetic upgrades.
• Sport Touring: This trim is mainly for shoppers who want a different look. The content points to minor aesthetic changes rather than meaningful equipment gains, so it is harder to justify unless the styling matters to you.
• Avenir: This is the trim to choose if you want the most premium version of the Enclave. It adds adaptive dampers, premium leather seats, ventilated and massaging front seats, upgraded ambient lighting, and a better 16-speaker audio system.

The standard safety package is strong across the lineup, and SuperCruise remains an available upgrade rather than a trim-specific necessity.

It earns a 7/10 safety score from our experts.

Standard driver-assistance and safety features include forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert and steering intervention, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, reverse automatic braking, and a surround-view camera system. Should I buy a 2026 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 42.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.8% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over unchanged after the 2025 update, so you get the latest version of the redesigned Enclave without waiting for a new refresh.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It launched the third generation with a full redesign and a broad set of standard tech and safety features.

The bottom line: If you want the newest version of the Enclave with strong market availability and a favorable ownership signal, the 2026 is the cleaner pick. If you are shopping strictly for value, the 2025 can make sense because it introduced the redesign and many of the same core strengths.
