New & Used 2026 Buick Enclave for Sale nearMiddlebury, CT

Is the 2026 Buick Enclave a good car?

Yes — you rate it 5/5, and the expert rating is 6.3/10. The model scores 7/10 across Form and function and Safety.

The 2026 Buick Enclave is a mid-sized, mid-luxury three-row SUV that aims for a comfortable middle ground between mainstream family haulers and pricier luxury rivals. It focuses on the basics that matter to many buyers: a spacious cabin in all three rows, large cargo capacity, high levels of comfort, and easy-to-use tech.

The trade-offs are clear, too. The expert review calls out pedestrian performance and an odd seating position, so you should expect a vehicle that prioritizes comfort and utility over driving excitement. Even so, 41.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which gives you a decent amount of market flexibility.

Is the 2026 Buick Enclave reliable?

Owners rate it 5/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.

The Enclave’s reliability story is tied to its straightforward mission: it is built to be a comfortable, easy-to-live-with three-row SUV rather than a high-strung performance vehicle. The expert review also notes that the standard tech and safety features functioned without false alarms or glitches, which supports the impression of a well-sorted package.

Its powertrain is described as adequate rather than inspiring, but the broader setup is aimed at everyday usability and calm highway manners. If you plan to keep one long term, the main ownership risk is that you may be buying into a vehicle whose strengths are comfort and convenience, not especially strong performance or excitement.

What should I look for when buying a used 2026 Buick Enclave?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report and prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment. Focus on cabin condition, seat comfort, and how the tech and driver-assistance features operate in real use, since those are central to the Enclave’s appeal.

Key things to evaluate:

• Trim level: The cabin is more inviting than the Traverse, with a classy horizontal dashboard and a curved digital display, while the top Avenir trim adds premium leather upholstery and upgraded ambient lighting. The base setup is already aimed at comfort and upscale presentation, but the higher trim is the one that most clearly elevates the luxury feel.
• Powertrain: All models use a 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine with 328 horsepower and 326 pound-feet of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard front-wheel drive. All-wheel drive is optional, and the powertrain is tuned more for calm cruising than quick acceleration.
• Safety package: Standard equipment includes forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitor with rear cross-traffic alert and steering intervention, lane-departure warning, lane-keep assist, reverse automatic braking, and a surround-view camera system. SuperCruise is available, but it is not standard.
• Infotainment: You get a 30-inch curved digital display, Google Built-in, standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charging pad, a WiFi hotspot, and a 12-speaker Bose audio system. The interface is designed to be easy to use, with physical controls for key climate functions.
• Fuel efficiency: The Enclave is rated at 22 mpg combined with front-wheel drive, with 20 mpg city and 25 mpg highway. With all-wheel drive, it is rated at 21 mpg combined, with 20 mpg city and 24 mpg highway.

Which 2026 Buick Enclave trim should I buy?

The 2026 Buick Enclave is offered in 3 trim levels: Preferred, Sport Touring, Avenir.

Here's the short version:

• Preferred: This is the trim that makes the most sense if you want the Enclave’s core strengths without paying extra for cosmetic upgrades. It gives you the roomy cabin, easy-to-use tech, and standard safety equipment that define the SUV, making it the best-value choice for most shoppers.
• Sport Touring: This trim mainly adds minor aesthetic changes, including a glossy black grille, but the expert review says the price increase is not justified. You should only consider it if the styling difference matters to you more than value.
• Avenir: This is the trim to choose if you want the most upscale version of the Enclave. It adds premium leather upholstery, upgraded ambient lighting, adaptive dampers, ventilated and massaging front seats, and a 16-speaker audio system.

The standard safety package is strong across the lineup, while SuperCruise remains an available upgrade rather than a must-have feature.

Should I buy a 2026 Buick Enclave or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2026 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2026 if:

• 41.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.9% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Owners rate it 5/5 — a strong satisfaction signal.
• It carries over unchanged after the 2025 update, keeping the roomy cabin, large cargo capacity, and easy-to-use tech.

Consider the 2025 if:

• It launched the third generation with a full redesign and broad standard tech and safety content.

The bottom line: If you want the most current version of the Enclave’s comfort-focused formula, the 2026 is the straightforward pick. If you are shopping primarily on price, the 2025 can make sense because it introduced the redesign and many of the same core strengths.
