What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Volvo XC60?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the listing matches the seller’s claims. Prioritize a pre-purchase inspection, especially if you are considering a higher-mileage example or one with optional equipment.

Focus on overall condition, service records, and how the drivetrain and brakes feel on a test drive. The XC60’s premium features are part of the appeal, so make sure the cabin electronics, touchscreen, and comfort equipment all work as expected.

Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Volvo XC60?

This looks like a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you can shop with some leverage if you are patient.

• Deal availability: 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 2,546 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.10% compared with last year.
• Clean inventory: 94.3% of listings are accident-free.

If you find a listing below $38,065, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.

What is the 2025 Volvo XC60's resale value?

The current average of $42,564 sits slightly below last year's $43,036.

That modest decline suggests the XC60 is holding value reasonably well, but not strongly appreciating in the current market. If you buy at the right price, you may have a better chance of limiting depreciation pain later.

For a future seller, the key will be condition, mileage, and equipment. Well-kept examples with desirable features should be easier to move than neglected ones, especially if you bought near the lower end of the market range.

Should I buy a 2025 Volvo XC60 or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 37.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 94.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 1.10% compared with last year.

Consider the 2026 if:

• The updated infotainment system brings a larger touchscreen and a more modern interface.

The bottom line:
The 2025 is the better primary target if you want a strong mix of price softness, inventory depth, and clean listings. If you are especially price-sensitive, keep the 2025 at the top of your list and use the 2026 mainly as a comparison point for tech updates rather than as the default choice.
