The 2025 Volkswagen ID.4 sits in a moderate market position, and 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals. That gives you a workable buying environment if you’re comparing inventory carefully and focusing on value rather than rushing into the first example you see.
What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Volkswagen ID.4?

You should still run a history report and verify that the vehicle’s condition matches the listing details. Prioritize a thorough inspection of the battery-related systems, charging equipment, tires, brakes, and interior wear so you can confirm the car has been maintained consistently.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Volkswagen ID.4?
The market looks selective rather than overheated, so you can shop with some leverage if you compare listings closely and stay patient.
- Deal availability: 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.

- Clean inventory: 95.3% of listings are accident-free.
Should I buy a 2025 Volkswagen ID.4 or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2025 if:
- 36.4% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is excellent at 95.3% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
Consider the 2024 if:
- It brings stronger range, more power, and a better infotainment setup.
The bottom line: If you want the current-year option and are comfortable shopping a moderate market, the 2025 makes sense as the primary path. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better secondary path because it offers meaningful upgrades and may be easier to justify on value.
