The 2025 Volkswagen ID.4 is a favorable pick based on CarGurus’ market verdict, and the listing mix supports that view. You’re looking at 328 listings, with 42.7% of them priced as good or great deals.
That combination suggests you have a solid chance to find a competitively priced example without having to compromise on selection. If you’re shopping this model year, the market signal is encouraging.
What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Volkswagen ID.4?
Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
Even with that strong share of clean listings, you should still run a vehicle history report and verify the car’s condition in person. Prioritize a careful inspection of wear, charging equipment, and overall cosmetic and mechanical condition so you can separate the best examples from the rest.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Volkswagen ID.4?
It looks like a buyer’s market for this model year, with a healthy share of listings priced attractively and a large enough pool to compare options.
- Deal availability: 42.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 328 listings available.
- Clean inventory: 96.0% of listings are accident-free.
Should I buy a 2025 Volkswagen ID.4 or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2025 if:
- 42.7% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is excellent at 96% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
Consider the 2024 if:
- It adds more power, better range, and upgraded infotainment.
The bottom line: The 2025 makes sense if you want to shop a model year with strong deal availability and very clean inventory. If you’re more price-sensitive, the 2024 is the better secondary path because it brings meaningful updates and may offer a lower entry price.
