Good value for a new car considering used prices are a bit crazy right now. Ride is smooth , absorbs bumps and harsh roads are not a problem for this car. I average about 60 miles to and from work everyday and so far I average 52 mpg, most of it is highway miles too. 10/10 would recommend it to anyone.

Bought a 2025 Toyota Camry hybrid yesterday and it seems like a great car. I really like the idea that I can recharge the electric battery just by breaking and letting off of the accelerator. It has a lot of room and it was comparably priced with the Corolla.

If you find a listing below $27,662.53, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
Is the 2025 Toyota Camry a good car?
Yes — the 2025 Toyota Camry earns a 4.88/5 user rating and an 8/10 expert rating. The model scores 9/10 across Cost effectiveness and Safety.
Drivers consistently praise its smooth ride, comfort, and fuel economy, and many also like the hybrid setup for its value for money. The Camry’s use case is straightforward: you want a midsize sedan that prioritizes efficiency, everyday comfort, and family-friendly practicality. The main trade-offs are a noisy engine at higher speeds and a voice assistant that can be finicky. Even so, 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals, which keeps the market attractive if you’re shopping carefully.
Is the 2025 Toyota Camry reliable?
Owners rate it 4.88/5, a strong signal of long-term satisfaction.
User feedback points to reliability, dependability, and a trouble-free ownership experience, with many drivers describing the Camry as a car you can count on over time. The hybrid system is presented as a practical, everyday setup rather than something complicated or demanding, which supports the sense of long-term confidence. Toyota also frames the powertrain as operating in the background, which reinforces the idea of low-fuss ownership. For used buyers, the main long-term risk is less about core durability and more about whether a specific example has been maintained well and kept in good condition.
What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Toyota Camry?
Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
You should still run a vehicle history report and verify that the car’s condition matches the listing photos and description. A pre-purchase inspection is especially useful if you’re comparing multiple trims, since equipment differences can materially affect value. Focus on wear items, interior condition, and whether the features you want are actually present on the specific car you’re considering.
Key things to evaluate:
- Trim level: The LE trim gets 16-inch alloy wheels and fabric seating surfaces, while SE adds black 18-inch wheels and SofTex synthetic leather upholstery. XSE brings 19-inch wheels and perforated leather seats, plus sporty exterior touches.
- Powertrain: Every 2025 Camry is hybrid. Front-wheel-drive models make 225 horsepower, while all-wheel-drive models make 232 horsepower. Toyota estimates 51 mpg combined for FWD models and 50 mpg combined for AWD models.
- Safety package: Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard, including blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane-tracing assist, lane-departure alert with steering assist, and road-sign assist. The Premium Plus Package on XLE and XSE adds front cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, and a panoramic view monitor.
- Infotainment: Standard equipment includes an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, plus wireless charging and five USB ports. Higher trims get a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and XLE and XSE can add a 10-inch head-up display.
- Fuel efficiency: Toyota estimates 51 mpg combined for front-wheel-drive models and 50 mpg combined for all-wheel-drive models.
Which 2025 Toyota Camry trim should I buy?
The 2025 Toyota Camry is offered in 4 trim levels: LE, SE, XLE, XSE.
Here's the short version:
- Base trim: The LE is the most basic version, with fabric seating surfaces and 16-inch alloy wheels. It gets the standard safety suite, but it skips the more upscale interior materials and larger wheels found higher up the range.
- Sweet-spot trim: The SE is the best value if you want a more polished look without jumping to luxury pricing. It adds black 18-inch wheels and SofTex synthetic leather upholstery, while keeping the Camry’s standard hybrid efficiency and safety tech.
- Premium/top trim: The XSE is the most upscale choice, with 19-inch wheels, perforated leather seats, and available two-tone paint. It also can be paired with the larger touchscreen and other higher-end tech features.
- Off-road trim: None of the trims here are aimed at off-road use, so you can focus on comfort, efficiency, and feature content instead.
Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard across the lineup, so you do not need to move up a trim just to get the core driver-assistance package.
Is now a good time to buy a used 2025 Toyota Camry?
This is a moderate, selective buyer’s market, so you have room to shop, compare, and negotiate.
- Deal availability: 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Inventory: There are 9,754 listings available.
- Price trend: Prices have softened 5.13% compared with last year.
- Clean inventory: 90.5% of listings are accident-free.
If you find a listing below $27,662.53, that's toward the low end of the year-round range and worth acting on quickly.
What is the 2025 Toyota Camry's resale value?
The current average of $30,041 sits slightly below last year's $31,666.
That softer pricing can help you buy at a more favorable point in the cycle, but it also means future resale gains may be more gradual if the market stays well supplied. For a seller, the current trend suggests you should expect value to hold reasonably well rather than surge. Strong efficiency, broad appeal, and a reputation for satisfaction can help support demand when it’s time to sell.
Vehicles with strong owner satisfaction ratings, like this model year's 4.88/5, tend to retain buyer demand, which supports resale value over time.
Is the 2025 Toyota Camry safe?
It earns Top Safety Pick recognition from IIHS, and it also scored well in frontal crash and rollover resistance tests from NHTSA.
It earns a 9/10 safety score from our experts.
Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 is standard, and it includes blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane-tracing assist, lane-departure alert with steering assist, and road-sign assist. If you want more coverage, the available Premium Plus Package on XLE and XSE adds front cross-traffic alert, lane-change assist, front and rear parking assist with automatic braking, and a panoramic view monitor. The lane-keeping assist system was described as firm but still easy to override, which is a reassuring trait for everyday driving.
Should I buy a 2025 Toyota Camry or consider a different year?
If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:
Choose the 2025 if:
- 33.9% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
- Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.5% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
