Is the 2025 Subaru Impreza a good car?

The 2025 Subaru Impreza stands out as a practical all-weather compact car with standard all-wheel drive, and that gives it broad appeal if you want everyday usability with added confidence in poor road conditions. It is also described as affordable and practical, with a reputation for being easy to live with and well suited to daily use.

At the same time, it is not positioned as the sportiest or most luxurious choice in its class, so you should expect sensible transportation rather than a premium feel. What should I look for when buying a used 2025 Subaru Impreza?

Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.

You should still run a history report on any listing you are seriously considering and confirm that the car’s background matches the seller’s description. Focus on overall wear, maintenance evidence, and whether the car feels as practical and well kept as the listing suggests.

• Deal availability: 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Inventory: There are 1,434 listings available.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.27% compared with last year.

What is the 2025 Subaru Impreza's resale value?

The current average of $24,038 sits slightly below last year's $24,850.

That price movement suggests the market has softened, which can help you buy more confidently today. If you keep the car clean and well documented, you will be in a better position when it is time to trade or sell.

Should I buy a 2025 Subaru Impreza or consider a different year?

If you're weighing the 2025 against nearby model years, here's how to think about it:

Choose the 2025 if:

• 33.6% of listings are priced as good or great deals.
• Accident-free inventory is excellent at 90.2% — clean inventory, standard diligence applies.
• Price trend: Prices have softened 3.27% compared with last year.

Consider the 2024 if:

• At $22,745, the 2024 costs less than the current year's $24,038 average.
• It adds a stronger value-and-fun mix with a revived RS trim.

The bottom line: The 2025 is the better pick if you want the current-year market and a broad set of listings to choose from. If your priority is saving money, the 2024 is the smarter secondary path because it undercuts the current average while still offering strong everyday appeal.
